I recall the French steelbook being the best possible version of this at the time for 1080. Is this still the case or is Arrow the way to go?

The reviewer on this site who reviewed both the blu ray and 4k arrow releases said some may prefer the blu ray over the 4k and it is extremely rare to see a reviewer on this site write that. Can anyone who has seen both versions weight in on this? For the record I own the 4K set of the Conan Chronicles.
