Bought Man In The Dark, Creature From The Black Lagoon, and House Of Wax. Just have to wait for them to arrive in the post.

Watched The Amazing Spiderman 3-D tonight with the wife:

For the most part I thought the 3-D gave a nice sense of immersion; but more "pop outs" might have been appreciated. As for the movie itself I thought it was very enjoyable. Some things were obviously very similar to the Raimi version of the first Spiderman movie in the previous series; but there were enough updates or twists on it not to be a problem. I am looking forward to the sequel.

Watched "Oz The Great and Powerful" earlier yesterday ... this was my second time seeing it and I actually liked it better the second time around. Definitely a very entertaining film, great 3D in it as well !!

Watched Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon. Best 3D I've ever seen and I've seen most of them.

What country did you get the 3D disc from?

Just finished watching Man In The Dark. WOW! What a GREAT 3D presentation. Detail and depth were excellent. Foreground placement was really good as well. Loved the few pop outs scenes as well (my favorite being the surgeons poking various medical instruments at you). Some really great 3D pan out shots that really stretched into limitless space.

Better 3D presentation than House Of Wax, Dial M For Murder, and Creature From The Black Lagoon, imo. SO WORTH GETTING! Glad I did.

Watched Wreck it Ralph 3D, loved it. The 3D is decent with the world being very vibrant..great story, art direction, and writing. Definitely recommend adding it to the collection. A lot of depth, and great use of effects

Just finished Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2.

Great dimension and roundness to the characters and objects. Good pan out shots that showed great depth. Great detail. GOOD LOOKING, VIBRANT image alone...a stunner for sure. Good flick...made me chuckle about as much as the first one.

Yeah, I thought it was much better than expected. Looks like Disney got the better end from merging with Pixar. Pixar are going downhill while Disney animation is going strong.

Watched bits and pieces of Tron Legacy 3D..I don't get the hate for this movie when it comes to it's 3D presentation, the battle bike scene imho, is the best thing I've ever seen in 3D.

What hate? I believe Tron Legacy is generally regarded as one of the better 3D movies. Although it does require a larger display with decent black levels to be fully appreciated. A 40" edge-lit LCD won't do.

a user review here and there on this site saying the 3d is weak..same with the "worth it" thread, a couple folks not liking it there either
