If I look hard enough I could probably find the answer somewhere but does anyone know for sure that the Dark Knight Rises slipcover is going to be lenticular?

This is agony to have to wait until the release date. I'm hoping I can just walk into Best Buy (Canada) on release day and pick up the exclusive DKR with Reborn doc. Pre-orders don't jive with me because I want to guarantee that I have the blu on release day.

These reports (especially from IGN re: Bane) are killing me. I can't wait to watch these special features!!

Unboxing for most of TDKR Blu-Ray editions!!

The Blu-Ray Trilogy boxset uses the same stupid side hinge things like the back to the future boxset, it's hard as hell to take the discs in and out. The DVD Trilogy boxset has a really nice lenticular cover with all 3 logos unlike the Blu-Ray version. Also, the broken cowl edition looks really nice here!

What country is getting the foil type slipcover? I'd rather have that than the lenticular.

The Cowl looks kinda cheapish, but the dvd slip and the dvd trilogy look way better then the blu-ray.

I think the Blu-Ray trilogy looks great. Simplistic and effective. Better than the photoshit cover coming on the standard blu-ray. The only thing I don't like is the inside disc holders.

Those type of disc holders suck. Amazon is now shipping a 3rd copy of Sanctuary, Season One. All discs came loose in the first two shipments.

I want to see the US broken cowl edition, since it's a combo pack they'll have to stick an extra DVD in that little disc holder. Not sure what to think of that, but the again, I'll probably end up getting more than one version so it doesn't matter

the broken cowl looks to be the same quality as the Batpod from last year's Dark Knight Blu-ray

Too bad the discs are just stacked on each other on the Cowl edition.
But I can deal with it since the actual Cowl looks pretty neat and it's not as big of an inconvenience as the Tron identity disc package(which had 5 discs!).
Since they've already announced some sort of "ultimate" trilogy for later next year, I know I'm going to end up double-dipping anyways.

I was planning on picking up the Best Buy Exclusive version (non steel) on opening day. Do they sell out very quickly? The Best Buy in NYC is open 24/7, so it may make sense to just go right when the clock strikes midnight provided they make them available immediately.

Non-steel exclusive? Which one is that?

Ah - nevermind. It's the regular exclusive Best Buy version - they didn't indicate on their website it was steel though.

Thanks a lot for this link. Finally I found the bat cowl specs! Was searching for it for a few days. So once again thanks.

But, too bad I am having a headache now after continuously listening to the person who is doing these unboxings. Man how fast he speaks!
