Hmm why did JewRosenhaus leave the franchise? Not to sound like a vulture but is there any possibility of switching from the Jags to the Bengals? I love having Urlacher and Peppers but the rest of the D is too slow for my taste.

It's not just you so dont feel like im isolating just you, but if we are having a too easy time with the all pro CPU, i dont mind bumping it up to ALL-Madden i think we all dont want that

Honestly,

It shouldn't be an issue if you score 700 pts against the computer. After all its the CPU against you.

However, if its another human opponents you choose to butcher then I have an issue with this. Few members here (even after they are up 20pts + in 4th Q) end up going to seal the deal against their opponents.

Don't remember who I played against (I think it might have been either LittleJohn or JC or neither but it was someone I played against) I had over 50+pts by the end of 2nd Q and all I did was keep kicking the ball back after I intercept or stop the offense. I only scored to maintain the gap leaving no chance for my opponent to come back.

And in all honestly, people should stop calling people out. There is nothing that belongs in the sportsmanship category when people call others out.

Just my opinion.

The inflated scores vs the CPU do not hurt anyone but it does kind of take away from the integrity of the Sim style league.

As far as all Madden goes Some aspects of All Madden are just too broken for my likings. I was practicing vs the Raiders on all madden and their DB's were anticipating my routes and running them better than my receivers before I threw the ball . It was hilarious. When in reality a DB who did that would get burnt every time.

I know All-Madden can be downright crazy most of the time, but I play in a couple other leagues on All-Madden even against the CPU and frankly I think I am a MUCH better player for it. Even on All-Madden there are guys in my leagues that constantly put up 100+ points against the CPU so it can be beat.

haha, I feel you dfinch But, you don't score that much without relying on some cheese or money plays (that includes abusing the CPU's pursuit AI especially for things like PRs/KRs). You also know that there are some plays that are extremely overpowered against the CPU. Limit that and I think you're good

Also, if you're scoring too much, maybe there's no need to use timeouts to score last minute before the end of halfs (if you're doing that).

^^ This. I think all us would agree that the CPU can be exposed pretty easily and it is unable to make in game adjustments like human players can. Lets continue having fun but not make this a joke.


As for the All Madden thing. @Warped, mid season is a bad idea IMO. I can't speak for the majority but I know I drafted my team to play on all pro. Those 70+ rated players that play like pro bowlers may not do so well on ALL Madden who knows, but I most certainly would have drafted differently if it were an All Madden league from the start.

LOL how do you draft to play on all-pro as opposed to all-madden? you're still going to be playing human opponents throughout the year and definitely in the playoffs so you would draft the fastest of the best regardless of what difficulty setting you are on.

I wasn't here for the draft so I took the best available team at the time but now since Jew left I would love the Bengals!! *cough* *Turner* *cough*

LOL, I am assuming this may have something to with one of my posts. I truly don't think I called anyone out, but if it was viewed that way, I apologize. I tend to make smartass comments but generally put a smiley face at the end, just to let them know I am smiling while writing it. Maybe I should put the or HAHA or Jking next time. My bad!

I was just trying to find out if this was still a sim league before I played my game. I am already in a Non-Sim league, did not really want to be in another. When I saw a 123pt score I was just confused. I have been booted out of other sim leagues b/c I scored too much againt the Cpu (without trying, jking, LOL), (BFSL was the league) Its cool with me if you guys want to score as many as u want against the cpu. It just makes the Sim aspect (stat tracking, league leaders) a little pointless. ( I actually enjoy league leaders and stuff)

I was not trying to attack anyone, I was just trying to figure out how this league was ran since I can not find the rules.

For example 4th downs, Mamaba pm'd me to ask me if he could go for it on 4th down and I think it was 4 or 5 yards. I did not know what the rules where. He was down 18 and was on my side of 50 (48 I think) So I assumed it was okay. Also, I just found out from BattleScarred that we are allowed to Place a RB at the 4th WR spot. I did not know that. Just need some rule clarifications b/c I don't want to be considered cheating, etc. Thanks

Speed is going to be important no matter what level you play on but All Madden and All pro are much different. All Player attribute/ratings are accounted for in All Madden whereas, player speed and User Skill are the only things you need on ALL Pro.

It's Mostly my Fault havent been completely inversed in the Commiisioner Role due to Life, LOL.

Its just needs to be enforced, but like I said no ill-will towards DFinch, but 123-3 Crazy.

Guys lets just watch our CPu scores, Ill look over it every week. Let's atleast keep the integrity of the sim in this Fantasy league.

Its not just you, I did the same thing some time last week and ended up feeling bad because I called someone out and next thing I know everyone is on a race to score more than their fellows. It did in a sense ruin some of the excitement out of the competition and turned it into a big joke after another.

I think Dfinch wanted to play his entire game rather than simming after the huge lead. So my suggestion if you are in such a position then allow the computer to score a few more points against you, and that will allow you to finish the entire game.

It was just meant to be that in general it creates nothing but headache. when people call others out, it often generates into a big argument which don't bring anything reasonable to the table. It will just divide the members into two groups arguing why and why not.
