I really love the DVD Trilogy box set. I like how the lenticular cover gives you three different backgrounds depending on how you tilt it. For Batman Begins, TDK and TDKR. Very nicely done. Too bad, it's not for Blu-ray. :/

The Cowl set looks good. Smaller than I expected but that's fine.

You might want to call earlier and gauge the supply and demand. I know, it won't be Black Friday, but here, in this sleepy little town outside of Austin, the Best Buy had a line all around the store last night - and you had to park 2 or 3 store lots away! Just sayin' : if you really want the steelbook, try to figure out how many other people want it and how many they'll have. As you know, NYC is a way BIG place with a lotta people.

amazon has none in stock left for the bat cowl edition, anyone knows are they gonna replenish......please dont tell me i miss out

it was available for pre-order approximately 5 months go and limited to 30,000 then 35,000 copies.
Chances of them re-stocking the item is unlikely.
However, Amazon may have some back in stock around release day as a result of some pre-orders falling through.
If you aren't able to place an order then, you'll have to rely on the re-sellers, who'll probably start to sell them at a minimum of $100.

During the last 5 months, there were some early indications of a quick sell-out. Amazon UK sold out about a month and a half ago, then shortly thereafter the U.S. release increased its availability from 30k to 35k.
So, speculation of an impending sell-out was happening all month long.
