I take it you didn't see KHAN first-run? The news that Spock would die was front-page stuff months before the film came out, and is why they put that early 'aren't you dead?' bit in, to make the audience think, 'ahh, so that was it!'

Foreknowledge actually works on the movie, because when they find out the thing is going to blow in 4min and you see Spock get his closeup, you just suddenly KNEW that this was it in a very chilling way. Still, I don't recall actually having any tearful reaction till the 2nd time I saw it (probably because the 'Amazing Grace' bagpipes triggered a big laugh throughout our theater while making me think of the Kaufman BODY SNATCHERS.)

My nephew and I were pretty d*mn excited over the first trailer, but we're trying not to watch anything else to avoid spoilers.
The posters that are coming out are pretty awesome too.

My nephew has also been updating me on the S.H. Monsterarts figures that he wants to get.

I actually did see it first run but must have just been lucky to not read or hear anything about the movie. Even back then I'd been good at avoiding spoilers. Not as good since I joined this site, though

Yep, that one is a big spoiler. Not like the marketing hid it very well anyway. But yes, if you're avoiding spoilers, don't open that tag. That image might spread across social media too so might want to avoid places like that too. Youtube thumbnails can also be a problem.

if it against bowling green = good pick.

In the previous two films Godzilla's beam was shown to be powerful but not really lethal during a direct attack. Godzilla had to aim his beam directly into the MUTO's mouth for it to kill her, and at best it mostly just knocked Ghidorah over. Unless Kong is immobilized I don't really see Godzilla's breath causing too much of a issue. He would have to slowly burn Kong away with it. Kong is fast enough to dodge it and strong enough to withstand Godzilla holding him.

Also the trailer clearly shows that Kong's axe has some kind of ability to directly attract Godzilla's beam, making it harder for Godzilla to land a direct hit on Kong.
