Sometime last week I posted here about seeing The Shawshank Redemption for the first time in quite a long time. Someone here (sorry I forgot who) mention I should also see The Green Mile since I never seen it. Now I have seen it and all I can say is ...I don't know what I can say actually? Such a powerful story about life even if the actual subject is death. I suppose one goes with the other since they are the two mysteries we may never be able to figure out. Sure we know the process for both but in reality what is life and what is death? I really enjoyed (even if enjoyed is not really a word you wish to use when speaking about a movie like this and the subject matter) the movie, the story and the acting. Everyone was top of the game in it. Now is it a movie I will wish to see often? No I don't think so, mostly because it's really too hard on my emotions. Maybe for others it's easier to deal with it but not for me. However for sure I will revisit this movie once again.

Thanks again! Quite a movie which I did not expect. I was surprise however by how little Michael Clark Ducan was in the actually movie. What I mean for a three hours movie I don't even think his entire screen time added up to 1 hour. I suppose hearing about the movie so much over the years I expected he was in it more. However he does have a huge impact in the movie, really surprised by his performance.

Yeah I know what you mean, the amount of time does not make it worst or better, it's the quality. I was just surprise, I sort of expecting him to be seen more, he did a great job.

Yep, like you said, everyone was at the top of their game in terms of acting. I like the sense of justice in the film. King loves that it seems.
