How is the disc menu for you?

In a rare L for physical media, the menu won't switch the language for me on the US version when I use my old players.

I haven't watched this movie in years and I remember being disappointed for some reason. But having looked at it recently it is top tier 3D so I bought the Open Matte version which is the one I intend to watch.

Brilliant film, one of Hark’s best, and the native 3-D is spectacular!

...at first it didn't load saying I needed a 3D player and monitor. Sometimes I forget to turn on my equipment in the correct order for all the handshakes. When I reloaded the disk it allowed me to choose 2D or 3D. The menu worked fine- I switched to English and added Subtitles.

I'll check which version I have when I get home tonight. And which model Samsung player....

Last night again watched Sponge Pants Bob Sponge Out of Water.

Wonderful depth and very funny, even the second time around. Highly recommended for the film loses not its humor but the immersive experience not seen in 3D.

I think this is one of those movies I already enjoyed watching in 2D so picking up a 3D copy was a no brainer. Another one in my long list of 3D movies (that I've seen in 2D) to watch. But from what I have seen, it has a nice 3D transfer with fun 3D effects, especially in the live motion scenes.

Rewatched Dragons at Flying Gate. Good movie with great 3D. Watched with the original language so as to get 5.1 audio, of course with subtitles. Highly recommended.

Interesting, I only know Spongebob through cultural osmosis but I could rustle up a 3D viewing posse who are yuge fans of it.

Fingers crossed that the 3D won't be enthusiast-only, I'm still stunned by that with Aquabro2, seen theatrically, while Enter the SpiderVerse 3D, seen on an ad hoc projection setup, received rave reviews.

It's a shame that the dub dropped the 5.1, I'm used to it being the other way around for asian flicks. How are the 3D subs? I've only seen the beginning shot across the nigh-endless harbor so far.

I watched my newly imported "Fast & Furious Presents : Hobbs and Shaw" last night, WOW, it's an amazing funny and fun movie! I have the 4k disc and watched it, but in 3D this movie is over the top! 3D and Atmos audio can't be beat!

I haven't checked the standard version but the Open Matte version has alignment issues which causes problems for the 3D subs in a couple of scenes. When watching in 3D OU you can literally see the top frame has been pushed a few pixels to the right. It's something I have seen before on at least one other Chinese 3D disc so I convert those subs to 2D. I don't know how this issue presents itself in standard blu-ray frame-packed 3D but I may do another conversion to SBS to see if it is as bad as OU.

Subs were fine, I can pull them up or down with my Oppo , so I moved them as low as they would go and still be able to read.

Easily the best of the series, and I was surprised at how good the 3-D was. The Rock and The Stath have smashing chemistry, and what a great cameo from Ryan Reynolds. A super fun and hilarious flick!

Today was Priest 3D. Very nice 3D moments but I can see why some reviewers may have had issues. I think @Mobe1969 may be right about the equipment being used at the time not being able to handle it. Coming from the same studio as the Underworld series, I think it is as good as the best of that series and certainly better than the worst.

So Maggie Q in leather is no Kate in leather? I'm not agreeing or disagreeing (publicly) but that could explain the lack of a sequel. Just sayin'
