Doh, I completely got mixed up and was thinking the exotic quest was for something else.

Otherwise yeah, I'm aware of the The Life Exotic perk. But on that note, I finally got the Thorn bounty so I'm probably going to focus on that one first.

You can do them both at the same time. They both require kills in the crucible.

I'm aware, I'm just saying that I'm only going to focus on the Thorn quest first as the other one also requires running 10 strikes which I'm not planning to do this week outside of getting legendary marks.

At this point, I honestly have no idea.

From what I gather, it's supposed to be based on the number of wins on your card. Hence, a person on their 4th win will face another team on their 4th win.

Unfortunately, I do not think that this is the case.

It is supposed to be matched on wins. It might still be but there's a lot of conjecture that the amount of people playing trials is down substantially so you don't get those first two or three matches against easily beatable teams before you get to the good teams. Seems sweaty right from the jump now.

I tend to get the most wins after we've used our loss boon and get into games against people with losses. That's when we generally start winning consistently.

that's pretty much what we end up seeing as well. got absolutely bent over our 1st 2 matches yesterday afternoon w/a fresh trials package.

I'm talking, like embarrassingly bad losses. boom, boom, boom.....3 guardians down and onto round 2.

really wonder why we keep going in there.

was out of town all weekend, but i got a stable connection just long enough to get the boots and trespasser from xur using my vita remote play.

i knew if i didn't bring it he'd sell something i needed. sure enough two exotics i was missing. i have all the hunter armor now.

i just got the thorn bounty as well so i'll be focusing on that and hard mode raid tomorrow

Just FYI folks sitting at 385 right now. Tomorrow the update drops and raises the maximum light to 400.

This won't just be for hard mode raid drops, but also for exotics, strike hordes, rep packages, and nightfalls.

The level cap for legendary (purple) engrams will also rise to 385, so if you're sitting between 365 and 385 right now SAVE YOUR ENGRAMS UNTIL TOMORROW.

Oh one more thing. If you're sitting between 340 and 365 save your rare (blue) engrams until tomorrow as well, they'll be increasing to a max level of 365.

Congrats. This was a walk in the park compared to year one. My lady was struggling with it since she mains a titan..... I told her to do it in mayhem rumble......She hates rumble......she said she got it done in 4 games........

The hardest part of the new Thorn quest is getting the quest itself!!

I'm 366 and I've been saving my purples anticipating this. Sitting on about 30+ purple engrams. Tomorrow's purple pay day

If you do strikes regularly it's easy enough to get. The hardest part is getting 150 or so kills in crucible with void weapons and abilities.

I'm 386 with high light stuff on and I've edged up factions but didn't go over just in case. I saved 17 Legendaries hoping an Exotic pops up.

I have 19 Exotics to go tomorrow, 13 are weapons. If done right how much light gain could I expect? Still have 30 3oC left so hopefully a few more. I'm choosing armor on the factions to help balance it.

depends on how they breakout. Make sure you're always decrypting for your lowest slot.

I went from 365 to 385 in about a day just by the strategic use of exotic engrams. Unfortunately I didn't know that the level cap would raise for all of the other drops, I thought it would just be for Hard Mode raid drops, otherwise I would have been stockpiling engrams.

Yes, I will do the lowest slot first on exotics. I'll decrypt the legendaries first, then the exotics. I'll save the 3 factions until after and choose armor if the packages scale too. Or is 385 the max on those?

rep packages will increase to 400 as far as I know
