That period of time was a lot of fun. I don't think I can top that, even with all the great new loot there is available now.

But it has been two years, it would've been hard to keep the community the same.

Although I'll note that I still see a lot of the people active in the forums then, play Destiny now. Everyone's just branched off into their own different groups.

Yep, can't be dying, so smoke bombs and shadesteps to get me out of harms way and recover. I never take off my Grasps on this Hunter in PvE. My PvE gameplay is really built on jumping, running, shooting, evading, so that's what all my builds aim for.

On my other hunter, I run a T5 strength build with agility boosting weapons and the Frost-EE5 which help me get my smokes back in 10-15 seconds.

All the moreso in hard mode - can't be dying.

I'm at 390, but I haven't cashed any of my exotics yet. I need to build up a few more before I start using them.

Texting killed the forum. Once everyone started texting and building groups that way the forum started to fade away. It also separated most of us, everyone just wound up playing with the same few people everytime. It's a shame really.

Just a reminder that factions only give you gear up to 390, so don't waste your strange coins on heavy packs.

Vanguard and Crucible rep packages too.

That said, I'm still heavily investing in heavy packs to level the rep to load up on 390 gear and upgrade all of the gear I can so I have the ability to swap it out as needed without taking a big light hit.

Hey All,

Took a break, and now it appears my old clan from vanilla Destiny is no more. That being said, I'm looking for some fun folks to play with and not take it too serious.

I would like to try and give the new raid a shot tonight/tomorrow if anyone is down, I'm getting tired of doing strikes/crucible

Anyone seeing a difference in exotic drops with Three Of Coins since the Tuesday update? I burned through 15 or so and only got one exotic. Normally that'd net me about 2 or 3, specifically from Taken Zealots.

for zealots yes, but not for strike bosses. It does look like they nerfed the drop rate for the zealots, which is reasonable, since they're huge pushovers now.

I killed one today completely solo, using nothing but my auto rifle.

Exactly the reason why I'd been using them for exotic farming. Anyway, thanks.

Edit: And the reason why I started going that route is because I was hardly getting any from strike bosses. Hopefully that'll change now.
