Ice : I'm mad because I was told at time of preorder when I specifically asked for hardened edition the Gamestop employee told me that I would be able to pick up any version I wanted which come to find out will not be the case as the version preordered supersedes the time of preorder. I'm not really mad anymore was just a bit frustrated because I wanted to grab the game at the midnight release, so convenience was a big motivation and now I will have to wait for it to be shipped, oh well. You live you learn.

Darkness II -Hmm makes you wonder just which steelbook art they are going to go with. Maybe they will release both haha >.<

Anyone got a big pic of what the Penguin steelbook from blockbuster (UK) looks like? I can only find the like 50x50 terrible one on their website

Don't ever preorder any special edition at Gamestop until that special edition is in their computer system. They'll tell you you can upgrade to any special/limited edition but you need to go back there to do it in person. If you don't do it in time before its out of the system, your out of luck unless someone cancels or if they have any extras. I used to work there I would know.


Anywho, anyone knows which UK retailer will have the FF XIII-2 steelbook?

Don't ever expect listen to employees lol unless you can see actual proof. Futureshop does the same thing, they list the steelbook for "all preorders", you preorder it, then find out you don't actually get it because you had to wait and preorder it after a certain time and they won't go back and add them to existing orders.

I feel for you though, it's going to be rough trying to find the hardened edition most likely. I preordered too late for Black Ops and the few extras they had pretty much sold out at 12:03. Your best chance is to hit up a midnight really early I guess.

Got an email from CD Uni about Uncharted 3 ce being discontinued by their supplier, it went on to say they are looking for a new supplier of it but should I be looking at alternatives for the SB?

Just preordered my very expenisve Sonic Generations Steelbook Edition from JBHifi, luckily they ship to the united states, unluckily it costs $109 for the game >.< the things I do for steelbooks.

^^ The front looks just like the modern warfare call of duty collection steelbook cept this one looks like it has smoke? and even has the three game slots on the inside. Can't tell if it is the same as the interior for both but if this picture is of what will be given out than the back of the steelbook will have MW3 art that isn't included in the already released MWCODCollection steel, making it unique in it's own right.

Bestbuy.com seems to still be doing pre orders on the Hardened Edition , just pre ordered mine through them. They have express shipping for around $13.00 that "guarantees" release day delivery.

Tell me about it, almost $250 total for MW3 Hardened Edition and Sonic Generations Steelbook Edition
