Just leave the slip in the wrap and bring out the blu case.

A couple of mine arrived today too; Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Race To Witch Mountain (Triple Play).

Unfortunately the CWaCoM slip arrived with slightly folded in corners, obviously because with it being completely sealed (including the slip), the pressure was just pushing down on the slip. It's still in generally very good condition, but a little disappointed, it was only £7 afterall mind and the movie is great.

Race To Witch Mountain arrived in perfect condition, the slip as mint as can be too so I'm so over the moon. It's definitely one of my favourite looking slips too, so vibrantly blue and shiny. I've put all of my Blu-rays in the protective wallet resealable sleeves now too so I'm really happy about that, takes the worry out of the mind about them becoming damaged.

I've also made another purchase today, which I shouldn't be doing since I've been spending a lot lately but I couldn't pass it up. I ordered Batman Begins with the HMV exclusive sleeve in perfect condition for £9 from Amazon marketplace. Which now means I have both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight with their slips, and also in Steelbook form too (once they arrive).

I can't wait to receive everything and take some pics.

THunter. Was it listed as a HMV exclusive or did you message the sellers first? How long did they take to respond? I can see one Used described as different cover 2 disk. That could mean a few things!

Nice finds though.

I personally don't seal mine. I just fold the flap over. However, if you do seal them, it won't ruin the slip because when you fold the flap over it sticks to the wrap, not the actual item you're putting inside.

Yes, they do have the adhasive tape. It's see through.
The glue is not strong enough to catch the slip and rip it.
It is strong enough to hold the wrap

They look nice protected and you know nothing can damage them.

Thanks man.

The seller didn't have the mention of the slip in the description, but I just copy and paste the same message to all sellers who I think are selling the Blu-ray for a reasonable price. Most respond, some don't. This particular seller respond within a few days, as most do usually. But yeah, just send the seller a message, they're trying to sell a product so they'll far more frequently than not get back to you.

Bingo! my resealable sleeve wraps arrived today, and they're excellent to be honest. As you say, the tape isn't strong enough to even really catch on the slip and damage it, and it folds over and sticks to the outside of the wrap itself anyway so never comes in contact with the slip. I spent about 30+ minutes wrapping up my collection this morning, and it feels great knowing they're protected, and dare I say it, they even look better as they now appear even more collectible in their protective wraps!

I'll try and get some photos up, but I've about 11,000 words to write for uni assignments so I'm a little busy to say the least!

For the 'ULTIMATE' in protection, those arcrylic cases that the AFA use once they've graded action figures would be best. Never actually seen any blu-ray size cases, but AFA themselves do make them to required sizes albeit 'pricey'.

These babies.....

Just a thought. Depending on how protective you are. (Excuse the pun).

My post office has crowned me King of Packages. I am also up for the "Most hated package recipient by Postmen" award

I'd go for the 'Most Appreciated' for keeping him in a job.

I think some Posties have developed a new sport, first they try and find a nice long hallway, second they find a package (usually Blu-ray shaped) last and by no means least they try propel said package as far down the hallway as possible. Extra points are rewarded for ricochets off walls or landing in a bowl of dogfood....

I pulled our postman for that very thing. Got a bit sick of discs coming off the spindles.

So what time does everyone's postmen/women arrive then?

Mine have been getting later and later, and I'm positive he lives round the corner, so I can only assume he delivers closest to home as he's finishing up so he can just go home straight after, makes sense. Bit annoying though when the packages arrive between 1pm and 4pm on a regular basis.
