154 days as a delivery driver today so almost 6 months, just continues to improve the versatility of my resume. Plus my employment was shaky in 2023 and 2024 so this is helping that as well.

I'd sooner take the snow than all the other weather issues California has. Snow ain't nothing compared to fires and all that. I've just never seen the appeal of California weather. It's hot as blazes during the day and cold as balls at night. No thank you.

Good day for clam chowda but not the red.

I was there for that festival 2 years ago. The art on display is quite good. My oldest sister wanted to go one more time to Walt Disney World before the 50th celebration was over with. So we went in the first week of February. It was nice. I miss it. Even though I've just been to Disney World recently. It's one of the few zen places I can go, just sit, take it all in, and not be stressed. With anything really. I love it. It's odd because I wouldn't have said that 30 years ago if you asked me what my zen place was. I would've said a record store. And I still do. However, you can't just sit and take it all in. Especially at Grimey's. It's much too small for that. Not that it's tiny, by any means. It's just not big enough to mull really. The issue is the people. The people in there relative to the space. My McKay's is like a warehouse almost and I still don't like being there. Too many people crowded in despite the relative size of the place.

I think that's why Walt Disney World and Disneyland appeal to me so much these days. They're so HUGE and wide open that you don't feel crowded. Despite the number of people there. you can find your own little corner away from EVERYTHING and bliss out. I find I need that more and more these days. I can do all that at home, but it's different. I don't feel very zen like in my house at all. In fact, I feel like i'm in prison. Plus, I'm not around people. I like being around people, but I don't really at the same time. I like being around people but far away and removed enough that they don't come near me. To be able to sit and watch it all go by, so to speak. I don't know why that is. It sort of recharges my batteries. But only for so long. My batteries are dying and I'm not sure how to fix that.

I've lived here since 1976 and never had a fire near enough to cause an evacuation. It would be like me saying I wouldn't want to live in the South due to hurricanes and floods. I would imagine there are potential issues anywhere you live.

As for the weather, it's the middle of winter and this weeks forecast is from a low of 48 degrees to a high of 81. It used to be that people said they wouldn't want to live in California due to earthquakes but now it's shifted to fires and the weather.

Well...I made it!

Bad idea coming at 3 'cause the place was packed. It was quite overwhelming but EVERYTHING looked good. I came after already eating, so I guess it's smart to show up on an empty stomach.

I just browsed. Definitely a pricey establishment. A "slice" of lasagna was about $12 depending on the weight.

The deli area was hopping and they definitely needed more staff to handle the orders. I really should have just gotten some of their homemade sauce and some pasta or just a few meatballs to see if I liked their sauce.

As I was leaving, their exit corridor is rather long and there was a sign advertising their dining area was located upstairs. Maybe advertise that as you walk in! I kept looking for a spot to sit. So that is good to know next time. I guess many people hit the hot bar or pizza spot and eat upstairs.

So now you know there's a place to eat at the Morris Plains location. I think it's relatively new and opened in '22.

It was a bit refreshing to hit Trader Joe's afterward as the prices were more within my range.

Coincidence that's all. ...Climate change? ...Snow, winds, ...all that jazz.
Plus, mixed with some human errors.

Beyond knowing his name, I know nothing else about them. You're the one wasting time posting images of them, not me.

If you truly know nothing more than his name why are you telling me that I'm wasting my time???

Get lost, you're wasting my time.

All of these plane mishaps weighed heavily on my mind while I prepared for my transatlantic return flight from Tenerife. I used to love flying but now I fear it. And it's become so much more laborious to travel that all the fun is completely gone. We hit some rough turbulence as we approached the Canadian coast over Nova Scotia. My nerves were frayed to say the least.

I've always hated flying. It scares the ever loving shit out of me. I can't stand it. But if I want to go anywhere like Disneyland, Palm Springs, or Disney World I gotta fly. HATE IT though.
