I care a whole lot more about what's on the disc than the case it comes in. This is not to say that I'm not anal about it - I still inspect all my cases before I buy them in the store to assure that the slipcover is intact or the art hasn't shifted under the sticker, but packaging style doesn't bother me.

The only case I think I might prefer to change one day is the Harry Potter box. I may at some point make a specialized case for the series, but I'm pretty lazy, so maybe not. I do think a slim case that encloses all 8-10 discs that will eventually be out would be ideal.

Agreed the movie is what matters not the case. But it is surprising that the OP didn't even know that the Matrix would come in a digi-book case

I like the digibooks. They are meant to be special editions, so you can't compare them to the Warner cardboard cases of old - during the first generation of Dvds - which they are nothing like.

Why not chuck out all your old DVDs while you're at it?
Couldn't have said it better. These people have nothing better to complain about. If you don't like the way they look in your collection because they are taller and different than your regular blus, then move them into their own section.

I love digibooks. I wish all movies from all studios, at least all catalog titles came in digibooks.

Digi Books are terrible....they look like crap on the shelf. I am glad every one that has been released there has been a nice custom cover made for them. Uniformity on a shelf....or it just looks like a mess.

What do you do with TV or box sets? Put them on another shelf or in a different room?

Digibooks are my second favorite blu-ray special package. Steelbook is number one.

All of the TV box sets that I've bought have been very close to the standard Blu-Ray case. Like LOST & Dexter. The only difference is the thickness. Height and width is the same.

I love Digibooks, almost as much as SteelBook cases. I love it so much, I payed $70 for a HD DVD Digibook of Bonnie and Clyde when I already had a Blu-ray Digibook of the same. I will double dip on both the Matrix and Dirty Harry Digibooks, just because they are in Digibooks. What I can't stand however are the thicker BD keep cases that many UK Blu-rays come in. So we are all suffering from OCD of some sorts.

All my standard dvd's are in keep cases. All my tv series sets are in custom made covers (spanning spines) showing off beautiful artwork. But the one thing every single movie has is that they are all the same height! You need to visit the custom cover sites and really make your collection stand out and UNIFORMITY is the key to a beautiful display.
