I did read it all though...pretty funny. We have our May 2-4 long weekend today in Canada. Gotta love it!

So I won that bid I was asking you guys about a few days back. I ended up with a Rega Planar 3. Here are some pics. Hopefully I didn't overpay for it...the winning bid was $400 CAN.

Hi Chris congrats,

Enjoy the turntable and tonearm. I know the Rega RB300 arm well having used one on my Thorens 125 MKII for over 20 years. The arm is solid and had been one of the best values (as was the RB250) in their price range for many many years.

Thanks Rich. I knew that the tonearm was pretty decent and some of them sell online for $300 used.

It wouldn't bother me but it's not mint. Just wanted to make sure you are aware of it.

It seems you are right. My mistake though...the seller called it Excellent condition. He said the tonearm was near mint.

Here was the description of the TT:
This one dates from the late '80s, it's in excellent condition has been little used. The arm is near mint, the bearings are perfect and the armtube is unmarked. The dust cover is clean, there are a few light marks but nothing of note and nothing visible from any distance. The cartridge is made by Audio Technica. It's got a Linn logo and less scrupulous sellers call them K9 but it's not marked anywhere. It's in excellent condition and has plenty of life in it.

Nice Turntable Chris , if your looking for a place that sells records .

Sonic Boom and Bloor and Bathurst and on the weekend i picked up 180gm Marvin Gaye (Whats going on) for $20.00
