EDIT: got my copy today finally.

Got my copy today plus 4 more for trades with some members. I wanted to add it to my collection, but when I do a search it doesn't come up. The FS exclusive does, but no BB. Is there something the mods can do to fix that, please?

I tried to submit it, they either didn't like my submission or it wasn't complete enough or they haven't seen it yet.

I'm keeping my copy sealed (not that I was planning to open it up anyway). With complaints of fine scratches upon removal of the shrinkwrap, I figure as long as it's sealed, I will remain blissfully ignorant in assuming that my copy is in mint condition.

Of the six copies on hand (that I saw; they claimed a seventh copy was in their inventory), three had dings, one of which had a manufacturing defect as well. Finding decent copies this time around was more of a challenge (than with the Up! steelbook).

Probably just first run problems with Best Buy IronPacks, hopefully future batches will have far less blemishes.

Hi guys,

I have question.. I picked 3 of them earlier in my near best buy.

I paid with my debit card. I asked the front cashier what will happen if I end up not picking the blu-ray disc and only take the iron pack case ??

He said that BB will deduct the money directly from my debit card whether I take/not the blu-ray disc, is it true ??

I thought if we end up only buy the iron pack we won't get our $7.50 back..

Hmm... Now I'm really confuse..

Any help would be appreciated.

Of course he and his loud mouth gheto girl protests being told only 1, the manager doesnt budge on the 1 limit,saying something about the store has a right to set a limit on the number sold per person, and the guy walks off mad shouting something with the girl following behind.

The manager then took them to customer service counter where some of the others who had complained were waiting, I am pretty sure that the remaining ones were distributed up at the guest services.

I walked up to the cashier and said Dont worry "I only need one and only have one"

Glad I got my one, and i am glad that the other people there were able to get one each as well and the 2 goofballs got none. Iam sure they sped off to one of the other nearby bestbuys though.


When I got home I saw there was one little scratch on the lower corner of the case not really noticeable, and it will probably be the first place i have a cast member sign when I go to the Bluray and Dvd premiere on the 23rd of this month at the El Capitan.

Another example of an idiot bestbuy employee. No they wont deduct the money from your debot card whether you pick up the bluray or not.

If you dont pick it up at bestbuy you take your reciept back and they will refund your money and you get to keep the ironpack.

If they were to charge your card for something you did not buy with out your permission for something you dont end up purchaseing they would be in big trouble,so no they wont charge your card. the employee you spoke to is a idiot thats all.

The IronPack is gift with pre-order, not gift with purchase, which means no purchase is necessary.

yes exactly you get to keep the steelbook no matter what now.


However even if you Ultimately get the movie from bestbuy though i would still get a refund on the pre order prior to release date though.

due to the way the morons at bestbuy handle applying the downpayment to your purchase.

the way they apply your pre order downpayment to bluray when you pick it up is to do the 7.50 plus tax as a exchange return, which can give you a little nightmare if you need to return your unopend copy of the movie at some point as there system and the way it appears on the reciept makes it look like you have a prior exchange return on the movie when infact they were simply applying the pre order downpayment.

i had a friend at work who had this issue, they were actually accused by stupid cs people of watching the movie resealing it and trying to get a refund because the reciept and system showed that the item allready had a return exchange on it.

Not only that but some best buy employees will give a hard time trying to use the 10.00 off coupon on picking up a pre ordered movie.

Haha no it was'nt directed toward you. i was laughing at the the story of how your visit to Best Buy went down and i bolded the parts that i found funny the most. i found it funny that two people walked in expecting to walk out with all those copies for themselves, people right by them in the store that were actually going to pick one up themselves looking at them like their crazy and rightfully stepping up and complaining about, the manager enforcing the 1 copy a piece rule when they got to the counter, the scalpers throwing a fit when they could'nt get their way, walking out, and possibly going to more Best Buy's to clean up the supply at those stores since they were'nt able to do so there. i was'nt laughing at you just the story and how funny it was . haha i can't believe people would actually attempt to walk out with that many copies, especially when others (right there) in the store were getting ready to pick one up for themselves. LMAO too funny.

Better off paying with cash seeing as they won't be able to charge your card extra in the event you don't want to pick up the movie from them on Oct 5th .
