From what I was told yes it does have the 2D version, which is why I'm going to pick up the 3D version. I plan on upgrading my HDTV to 3D soon.

I am so mad with Amazon right now. I got an email saying that it will not arrive till the 30th. I would just cancel and go somewhere and get it but I did the $5 off deal with Easy A and I don't want that taken off if I cancel. Amazon is great 99% of the time but a movie I have really been looking forward to seeing again is what they have to deliver late.

You probably have another 200 unwatched movies to spare some time before you get it, so it shouldnt be that bad for you.

By the way, where the heck is the review of this disk on blu-ray.com?

Ken's probably taking a break! I'd review it but I want to re-watch the first three since I haven't seen them in at least 2+ years.

Who is normally in charge of updating this site's BD database?

I've noticed recent Best Buy excusives have not been added! For example. the Resident Evil Exclusive box that came out this week, or the Wal-mart and Best Buy exclusive version of Despicable Me. I realize the site doesn't seem to add releases with different slipcovers but these releases had unique content and/or packaging.

You need a 3D capable TV, and a Blu-ray player that's capable of outputting dual stream HD for 3D.

Got my reserved copy early today at my local Movie Stop. After trading some movies in and using my $5 off coupon,I ended up paying 72 cents.Went with the 2D version cause I could really care less about 3D(granted I saw it in 3D in theaters and it looked pretty good.)

I'll be hitting up the 24 hr Walmart tonight at midnight.

For those wondering, you CAN play the 2D version from the 3D disc on non-3D equipment. You'll just have to upgrade your equipment eventually if you want to watch the 3D version. That's why it's not a bad idea to pick up the 3D version.

I will verify this once I pick it up and post an update.

If you're indecisive on purchasing the standard Blu-ray vs 3D Blu-ray, go with the 3D. The film is essentially made to be watched that way, unlike a lot of 3D movies that only have a small fraction in 3D technology.
