Gears of War 3 Epic Edition

I know it doesn't bother you & you know that I'm just messin' with ya! I'm looking forward to Infamous 2 as well. I don't know if I'll pick up the Hero edition though. The only reason I got the Kollector's Edition of MK was I had enough tyderian credits left on my PowerUp card to get it. As for Duke Nukem, meh. Never was into the franchise so I'll probably pass on this one as well. I am looking forward to L.A. Noire though it looks involved & well put together.

played about three hours of Heavy Rain last night. loving it so far. graphics seem hit or miss at times and controls certainly take some getting used to, but good stuff and no complaints from me so far

then today i got up and was in the urge to play Fallout 3 again for the first time since January 29, 2011 (seventh play through or so! ) and started doodling around the wasteland. then, just before i googled, "things you must do in Fallout 3" and found about 50 things i had never even heard of! i've spent over 600 hours on this damn game and the fact i'm still missing some things / places to see / find is staggering.

love this game!

WTF!?! Over 600 hours!! I thought I had put in quite a bit @ just a tad over 300 but you sir win the chicken dinner!! It's an awesome game! I've moved onto New Vegas myself , currently I have over 225 hours in that one & I'm looking forward to the upcoming DLC's.

haha, yeah, a lot of days have gone into Fallout 3 first time i just played without looking up anything, just winged it. then i bought the game guide, my mind was blown! then after that play through (about 120 hours) where i accidentally ended the game (didn't know which mission was last and you couldn't stop it once you started it ) i set it aside for awhile and then went back and was hooked again.

haven't played New Vegas yet. heard a lot of mixed reaction on that (from bugs so bad it's virtually unplayable, to it's boring, to it's not as fun as FO3...) so i've been contemplating. i'll likely pick it up once i'm FINALLY (if ever ) done with Fallout 3

The bugs were an issue @ the beginning but don't U remember how FO3 was @ the launch? Anyways, they've released patches that have smoothed out gameplay quite a bit. As far as the boring & fun statement, I don't know about that. I know I find myself more connected to New Vegas than FO3 but that's me.

i've heard of patches and whatnot that have helped. honestly i wouldn't know with Fallout 3 i bought the Game of the Year edition when that came out. and that really has no problems (a few, mainly in Broken Steel), which reminds me to check for any updates once PSN is back up... i don't know if those download automatically, or if i have to search for them myself, or if they come with other system updates...?

good to hear about New Vegas though! i tend to wait anyway for games (hate paying $60 a pop) so if it's been fixed, all the more enjoyable it will be when i do finally get it.

and i can't imagine it being boring if it's anything like FO3 so i fully intend to lose hundreds of more hours of my life to that game

Those updates are distributed by Bethesda's servers. So if there is one than it will download when you boot the game up.

If you intend to wait for New Vegas than October would be your best bet as the GOTY will be out by then.
