Not exactly a boxset but this bundles were released this month in Mexico (they are just dvds). Nausicaa, Ponyo, Laputa & Yamadas are available in blu-ray, but not in a boxset.

I think there's gonna be a 5th set soon with Kiki, Whisper and Grave.
(Ocean Waves was not released in Mexico, Earthsea and Return of the Cat belongs to other company).

Especially when The Castle of Cagliostro is not a Ghibli film....it is Miyazaki, but it was produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and released by Toho.

Exactly. I can't understand how these foreign releases get sanctioned in the first place, and little details like as you say, Cagliostro not being a Ghibli film; apparantly aren't considered or they're not known by the distributor/pirate.

They just look like the tat you get off eBay to be honest. Sorry all, don't wish to sound rude but it annoys me when our friends (who may not know as much as the hardcore of us) on this board are tricked into thinking something like the Mexican releases are genuine and actually pay good money for them.

I think "From Up on Poppy Hill" might be the next release. A preorder (without a date) for the French release came up on Amazon FR. The last time this happened was with Arrietty and that turned out to be the next Japanese release.

Cool, very likely since it must be a newly made transfer. Must have missed the movie completely and here I thought I knew most Ghibli.

I got Howl and the AV is just mind-blowing! I had the Japanese DVD and always felt a little disappointed as my first experience with Howl was at the cinema, and the DVD never even came close to that. The BD is incredible though. Rock solid in every aspect! You have absolutely nothing to worry about with this release!
