That's what I get for not reading the whole article. In any event, I'm sure the world over will get quite few different SB options. Can't wait to see them revealed. Personally I'd love to see all 3 films get the digibook treatment! |

Also, Best Buy will have an exclusive Making of the Dark Knight Trilogy disc selling "this Fall", probably when TDKR is released.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I personally hope WB includes their Maximum Movie Mode on this. I love that feature, and the two other Batman films have had okay extras. The scope and making of this film was incredible, and even though I just read The Art and Making of the Dark Knight Trilogy, MMM would be a great addition to the disc. I know deleted scenes really aren't Nolan's thing to release on his discs (I think only Insomnia has some), but I really feel as if there was some neat scenes left on the floor, for its under 3 hours running time. Can't wait to buy this. |

I hope they use different sources for this one instead of lazily using the IMAX master like they did with TDK. Use the IMAX master only for IMAX scenes, and use the 35mm negative for non-IMAX scenes. Otherwise you end up with the non-IMAX scenes looking like crap (as they did in the TDK Blu) because of the IMAX DMR process (DNR and EE slathered on).

I can't find the link yet, but when TDKR was getting ready to come into theaters, WB/BB re-released Batman Begins and TDK in steelbooks, there was a sneak peek at the doc on those discs. And if you went to BB recently, they've been advertising the doc on the Home Theater TVs. Should be announced soon.
Anway, yeah I think TDK's pic quality is pretty spectacular. I own a Sony 40" LCd 1080p, 120Hz and it looks great. I wasn't trolling, so please explain why it's "terrible". I've seen terrible Blu-ray transfers and TDK is FAR from it. |

The fact that it's switches between that and the Imax footage only further exasperates the issue. |
