Again, I've been delayed doing these updates, so I have quite a bit to show. I'll stick to the separate post for separate days

So here is what I got Tuesday 8th January:

Two orders from Amazon, in what will now be becoming commonplace, and also The Last Projectionist from Amazon Marketplace. I watched this straight away, as the subject matter is of great interest to me. I would recommend it to anybody who has any interest or ever been to the Electric Cinema in Birmingham

Now onto Wednesday 9th January:

The first of my Hut order and also my MI:3 replacement, well the second replacement copy as the first replacement was also damaged. I wish that they hadn't shoved all the extras onto a second disc, as to get that two disc release is not going to be cheap

Next up Thursday 10th January:

These are all from HMV. Apart from A Royal Affair, all the titles were in the 5 for £30. I did have a fifth title - Cockneys Vs Zombies - but I noticed that when I got home, the sleeve under the slip had a big hole in it. I didn't get the chance Friday to take it back, or at the weekend, and I was off work Monday. By that time they had gone into administration and weren't offering exchanges. I had already ordered a copy off Amazon, and will send the HMV one back for a refund

A Royal Affair was £6, but I had the save £5 when you spend £35 or over voucher, and I cashed in my Pure Points for £2 credit, so it only really cost me £7. As I mentioned previously, I don't mind paying full price if I pre-order an item, but if I forget to pre-order an item, then I wait for the price to drop. It doesn't make much sense really

Just one item on Friday 11th January:

This was from Play and I had waited for this to drop to under £4

Now onto this week - Monday 14th January:

Wild Bill, Cemetery Junction and The Firm were part of the Hut order. I used my Play Superpoints to get Four Flies On Grey Velvet a bit cheaper. Nowhere To Go and Lawless steelbook were all from Play. I'm collecting the Studio Canal Vintage Classics Blu-rays and now DVDs, seeing as some of the films are DVD only

Oh, and this is the new carpet, which I'm going to use rather than a bed sheet or the wooden floor

Moving on to Tuesday 15th January:

The Titfield Thunderbolt is from Amazon, and so is the replacement Cockneys Vs Zombies (great film) which I mentioned earlier. Vidal Sassoon - The Movie completes the Hut order and the other three titles are also from Amazon

I also had Dredd 3D, but when the item was shrinkwrapped, the sleeve wasn't in properly and the top part was sticking out and had got damaged. I also had Django Prepare A Coffin but the bottom clip inside was faulty and the disc had become loose and scratched. Replacements on the way

Now on to Wednesday 16th January:

Gigi is from Amazon US, and the other five titles are from the HMV 5 for £30 deal. I decided to finally pick up Adventureland, and also Midnight Cowboy after reading peoples comments that the transfer wasn't that bad. I also wanted the other two Kevin Smith titles I was after, and also as I wanted it, but not seen it in the offer before, The Kite Runner

Again, I also had some other titles. Mrs Miniver from Amazon US, but the side of the sleeve on the spine of the case, had a rather large crease in it (more likely to do with it being an eco case) and The Mist, which suffered from the same problem as Dredd 3D. I had to order The Mist from a third party Amazon seller as Amazon had no more in stock and I didn't want to wait. I'll have to wait anything up to two weeks for the Mrs Miniver replacement to arrive and I hope that one's OK. I have the Whatever Happened To Baby Jane? US digibook ordered so I definitely hope that one's not damaged. I find it pot luck sometimes when it comes to ordering digibooks from Amazon US as to what condition they will arrive in

I have plenty of post and other items to show today, so when it's all opened and the picture ready, I'll post it up on here

One Flew Over and Toy Story 3 I got from local market, would not usually buy second hand but they were in great condition with a slip, and a good price, so Icould not resist.
Monsters Inc and Wall-E from DMR, the rest bought new.
Is One Flew the US digibook version? That's a nice market find!

By default, probably not. Only a few players can be hacked to be blu-ray multi-region (and it's usually off-brand cheapie models) - what's the model of your player?

I don't think home alone has a slip cover. People go mad for them! Don't know why?

Last year, it was in hmvs deal when you spend over £3 you could pick 1 of a few titles for £2. It was the blu with slipcover, they had loads but the batches that came in later probably didnt come with them. I shoudve bought 1, they were all gone by the time I got a blu player.
