My experience with WalMart and pricematching is, the store will not match the online prices. If you have an ad, it should be that price in the store.
For example, if you see a movie on their website for $20 and you go to the store to get it, but it's $25 in the store, they will not pricematch. The did do it for me once as an exception, since I was able to show them that I could purchase it right now online for the lower price and do a store pickup for today. Not everything can be picked up the same day though. If you have an ad, that should be the instore price. |

Here's their official policy: Our Ad Match Guarantee At the bottom it states that they don't match internet pricing. Last edited by bsweetness; 09-03-2013 at 10:53 PM. |

Nope! No 3D and we don't even know what the "Exclusive is". $19.96 is what my pricepoint is without a 3D disc and even then I'm hoping I can pick it up in the trading forum for $15-$16

yeah, it seemed really high, and it will likely be $19.99ish on release day. Early access isn't worth an additional ten bucks

Bought the Pacific Rim preorder for $17 on the forum. Early digital on October 1st and you get 3 bonus featurettes to watch now!

Yeah, I think there is a sale period for PR. I bought it for $19.96 also. Might want to get on it if you want it from WM at that price.
I have bought them occassionally on eBay or from a board member, but I always worry that their "sources" are people that tear open the packages in the store, or use other illegal means. I wrote VUDU to suggest they might want to have the preorders locked or something and they said "huh, why are you writing us? Write Wal-Mart." and then I got lazy and didn't do anything else. |

OP, the One Direction VUDU preorder that is $19.96 is DVD. The Bluray is $22.96. I noticed it today in store, and my store had the Pacific Rim preorder --- rang up at $29.96 even though its in the ad for $27.96. Glad I bought it on the forum for $17
