Amazon is out again.

Has this been restocked anywhere else? I'm thinking Amazon may have found some old stock.

No, it looks like it is still OOS everywhere, including Drafthouse's own site.

I never got any anwer from them whether it was truly OOP now or just between pressings.

I still have a feeling it is the latter, but I did jump to on one of those copies that popped up on Amazon (thanks to Cholly for the heads-up).

Worst case scenario, there is still a BD available from Germany which looks identical in transfer (in fact it may have a tad better compression).

Wow, I had no idea. Looking at the screencaps now, the X-Cess blows the Drafthouse away. Looks like I'll have to pick that up. Sigh.

Ms. 45 was released 7 years ago and Miami Connection almost a decade ago. It shouldn't take years to get around to purchasing something that you'd turn around and blame the company for mismanagement when it goes OOP? I'd say after 18 months, if you haven't picked up a genre film on physical disc then you have no one to blame but yourself when you miss out. Storage ain't free.

No, I loathe their management for how they ran the birthmoviesdeath site before it went out of business, and for how they were extremely performatively "woke" while supporting abusers and scumbags behind the scenes with things like the Faraci debacle. Meredith Borders in particular was a very unpleasant individual.

I only loathe scalpers for Miami Connection skyrocketing in value! Though it sounds like it was a bad release anyway. Hopefully someone else releases it.

Spanish bootleg. Most likely a rip of this very Drafthouse disc.

The fact that it is listed as all regions and that no studio/ rights holder seems to be listed on the back makes me think it is be a bootleg. That are some of the tell-tale signs I have been told to look for.

But perhaps someone with better knowledge of the label can chime in?

EDIT: My slow ass was beaten again!

It is really weird that this title has gone OOP in the US. Hopefully VS or someone similar will be able to get their hands on it eventually.

I bought the Drafthouse BD for $6 at Hamilton Book last year. If anyone wants my streaming/download code for Ms. 45 for FREE -- Pretty sure it still works -- send me a PM.
