I won't make it to BB at open which is now where I live. Hoping the previous steelbook is a guide to inventory levels.

I just got back from BB, and they had a lot there. I'd say at least 50+ at my location.

Picked mine up this morning. They had a ton of them like I figured they would, just like the first two.

Picked up three copies (one for me and two for friends) and was rather uneventful. In and out and back to work within 10 minutes. All appear to be flawless.

Most if not all stores took down their steelbook displays last month. I am sure they will be back in time for Fathers Day though.

Did you just swap out the insides? I have been thinking of swapping the innards of my HG with my Thor: The Dark World SB since I only have one Thor disc (sold the 3D) and three HG discs from Target.

You would also have to swap off the spines. The inner trays are all one solid piece

yup i swapped out the insides, for anyone curious its rather easy

just take a hairdryer to the spine for a few mins for the glue to get soft, then get a credit card and use it down the spine, should come off rather easy, then use crazy glue to re-glue the spine to the new innards

the front and back pop off rather easily

this bugged me as well, but not enough to do a swap on the Mockingjay steel

Cudz had a nice video somewhere using this technique. I have done it a few times without issue, of course your costs go through the roof when buying 2 versions and a spare 3 disc Steelbook to scrap, lol.

Was just about to ask if there's a healthy number of these since I won't be able to get it til EoD. Even though I pre-ordered, I'd like the option of trading for another if need be.

The local BB that I went to this morning had about 40+ copies of the steelbooks, just like how there were plenty for the first two movies. Only if it was like this for ALL steelbooks

Since BB released steelbooks for all 3 movies so far, I guess it's safe to assume that they will release Mockingjay Part 2 with a steelbook as well? It would be terrible if they didn't like what they did with The Amazing Spider-Man and The Hobbit...at least Target picked up their game with the latter.

Local Best Buy in Fairfax, Va had a ton in display up front. Would guess a good 20-30. Another display in back had another 20 or so. I was only one looking at these steelbooks at lunch time. I looked around and this best buy did not have any other steelbooks anywhere.
