Watched the composite cut a couple of hours ago.
A very, very entertaining slasher film with great gore effects and a bonkers performance from Louise Lasser, who's character could actually pass off as the sister of Mike Kellin's character from Sleepaway Camp. 100% worth the $20 I got it for. |

Personally I would go with disc one, the "hard version ". Leaves the gore intact. Trims a few unnecessary scenes and I believe adds ( or keeps intact) a scene towards the beginning involving a mental institution. IMO really the only version that needs to be seen ( but it is nice to have the other versions as well).I would even go as far to say if you don't like the disc 1 version, then no point to waste your time checking out the other versions.

I do like my cheese fests and so bad they are good slasher flicks but this was just terrible IMO............no redeeming features at all.

Don't go in the woods alone is a slasher that has no redeeming qualities. While blood rage is certainly not top tier stuff it has more then enough for a slasher fan to enjoy.

I agree with this. There are lots of slashers, while not appreciated when first released, can now be reappreciated for lots of things, from ingenious special effects on a budget, stylish construction or intense set pieces. This... has none of those things. Like there are lots of good ideas on paper, but they are never executed very well at all. So basically what that leaves is a lot of bad acting but a kick-ass soundtrack.

Just the DVD from my understanding. The DVD is region B locked, so the info is on the OP if you want to do that. The Blu-rays are fine.

Watched this for the first time and enjoyed the hell out of it. I watched the composie cut but will check out the other versions later. I watched Bloody Moon last night and Blood Rage blows that out of the water. This is pure unashamed slasher
