Would you guys be able to release these movies on blu-ray ??

I think Paradise might be with Lionsgate, could you guys please rescue it from them ?

Thanks and keep up the good work !
I'd take The Beastmaster and Body Slam.

Some of these can't be done because:
-The Zoo Gang and Reform School Girls are owned by Lakeshore Entertainment with RLJ/Image currently handling distribution (although they do sublicensed out to Arrow and Kino so maybe try them)
-Beastmaster 2: Through the Portal To Time is owned by Republic/Paramount.
-Like you said Paradise could be Lionsgate, but even so, it's a StudioCanal title so no go either way.

All other titles are possible though (according to Filmaf, Pink Motel is with HBO/Warner, but that might not be the case anymore).

UPDATE: After seeing some MGM titles are coming soon from MVD, it's clear the 2 have a deal now, so Undercover, Thunder Alley, Radioactive Dreams, Gas Pump Girls, Body Slam are possible now.

Last edited by Nailwraps; 05-12-2018 at 04:15 PM. Reason: After hearing the announcement that Barbershop 1 and 2 are coming from MVD, it's safe to say they have a deal with MGM

I’d like a NEMESIS set, although if you released the first alone and then a Sue Price sequel set, I’d be fine with that, too. I just want them all released.

I would like a single release since I'm not sure about the sequels.

I would do both. I would do box set first, then 3 to 6 months later do stand alone of all of them. imo.

Wrote up SPLIT SECOND today on my Cinema Arcana FB Page:

“He’s seen the future. Now he has to kill it!” Tony Maylam’s action /sci-fi / horror romp SPLIT SECOND (1992) finally makes its way to domestic Blu later this year, courtesy of the MVD Rewind Collection! In the way off year of 2008, cantankerous detective Rutger Hauer and fresh-faced rookie Neil Duncan find themselves hot on the trail of a heart-munching serial killer – the same one who ripped open Hauer’s original partner years earlier. As they slosh through a partially-submerged cyberpunk London looking for clues, they come to suspect this murderer may not exactly be from our world.

Promoted by Fangoria during production, SPLIT SECOND didn’t gain much traction until its VHS release and cable play, where those who bothered to watch found a fun, action-filled genre programmer with some laughs, some splat and plenty of things blowing up. And sometimes that’s really all you want. Issued on DVD by HBO in the early 2000s, the disc went out of print Stateside and fans have had to resort to overseas options for their viewing pleasure. Thankfully MVD are here to give the film its belated Stateside HD debut, and while the disc itself is still a little ways off—production of bonus features is just now being looked into—it sounds like we’ll hopefully see it by year’s end.

And just in case you thought that’s the only sci-fi actioner MVD has up their sleeve, the company has also confirmed their acquisition of Albert Pyun’s NEMESIS (1992) and its sequels! Watch this space for details.

Sweet. Hoping mine ships from Bullmoose soon. I live pretty close to them, so sometimes I get stuff on Saturday before release day and I've been itching to see this crazy movie again.

I haven't seen it since the USA Up All Night days.

I can see MVD Rewind becoming a very popular company, especially with these titles coming soon. I only have Black Eagle and pre-ordered Lionheart, will definitely get Split Second and Nemesis.

Split Second looks fun. Anyone seen it? I don't have any MVD releases yet, but that should certainly change soon.

Split Second has a very big cult following, probably thanks in part to a really nifty creature design.

The movie itself is interesting. A Blade Runner-esque future where global warming has left London mostly flooded (I'm going a lot off memory here, haven't seen the flick since the early 90s), where Rutger Hauer goes up against a serial killer that happens to be our resident monster.

If memory serves, the movie might've been mangled in pre-production, but there's still plenty to like about it.

Yeah, I see them becoming an easy favorite of mine in the future. I have Killer Tomatoes and Black Eagle. Return of Swampy and Abominable pre-ordered and some of these new announcements are guaranteed to be added to my collection as well, especially Split Second.

I personally can’t wait for 3:15—I hope it isn’t waaaaay down the road. What an exciting release, and another Deborah Foreman movie coming to BD! Now where the hell is Valley Girl???

I can't recommend their releases enough. I've been impressed so far and I can see this label becoming my favourite.

Hopefully you can snag a few titles soon and enjoy them.

I starting liking them instantly, but when they announced Abominable, they became a favorite. If anyone hasn't seen this one and is on the fence, don't be. Abominable is a modern classic. It has everything you could want in a fun-style horror flick. This really seems to be MVD's year. I'm hoping they can establish a cult fanbase like Scream Factory and keep pumping out some great titles.

I wonder if MVD can crack Grim Prairie Tales or the Willies. Both are classic video store favorites and would fit right in with the line.

I hope they model themselves more after VS and start having a reliable slate of about 3-4 BDs per month and start offering direct website sales and monthly and/or yearly subscriber discounts.

Also, I hope they pursue a release of Hamburger: The Movie. NEED THIS!
