I find the fetishistic trumpeting of the story and screenplay credit on the ARMY marketing a bit bizarre. I am a writer and hell yeah I am all for writers getting credit.

But doing a story and screenplay credit every time seems perverse.

Why the **** do we need the story by credit every time so that Snyder can get his name on the poster 20 more times?

Seems weird to me.

Snyder, Nolan or Neil Breen for that matter are doing it right but Breen isn´t inside the Hollywood system so his efforts are in vain.

It was my understanding that the zombinos are humans who were mutated by an alien McGuffin but maybe not? One more sleep and then we will know. A zombie is smart enough to ride a horse in the teaser the whole film is a partial Anti-Trump satire. BLM protests are much older than this resurrected version of the film so let´s see if Snyder will go there.

It's not the point of being credited. If he puts in the work, he deserves to be credited for it. **** it, act in it too.

Tig Notaro should be fun and Snyder will do a panel for TSC on Saturday and Army on Sunday. This will beat the digital Comic Con. Again.
I wonder if Netflix will promote this? I say yes as their new universe got a (partial) fan con before its launch. The film would have come out in 2020 of course if Snyder didn´t keep being cursed. The checklist for Sunday:

Snyder fans caused another server crash. Lol. Netflix bet on the right man. Well, the man who greenlit DotD almost 20 years ago did. I think it's noteworthy that a former Universal exec and Snyder ended up on Netflix. What is good enough for David Fincher should be good enough for anyone.

I wonder if the zombie dogs in the prequel toon will homage Resident Evil. Can´t beat that 1996 Dobermann design. Snyder mentioned that his zombies are on another level as they can open doors. Some RE zombies can do that too but Snyder´s can also climb bladders. RE ones can´t do that. The highest function those ever achieved is to shoots guns if they still have those in their hands (RE6). Romero´s zombies can do that too fo course. Snyder´s seem much more proactive with their weapons. Snyder didn´t go full Crossed but close enough.

The Two-Face tiger is named Valentine btw.

Snyder just teased a sequel directed by him. Set in a new location.

Snyder got kicked out of his boarding school. He would like to blame it on an Apocalypse Now remake he directed on their grounds. Lol.

Today´s Zack attack: There is no cuts of the movie. I didn't have to fight them, it was the opposite. This is the Director's Cut. You don't have to see the bastardized version.
To be fair. Universal & the MPAA started that trend with DotD. Not WB but they really went for it. He and Riddles Scott can´t catch a break and there is technically a D'Elia Cut of this and likely Lost Vegas.

The film will debut in theaters one week before going on Netflix. It is thus eligible for the Academy. Too bad there is still no stunts & mo-cap category. Maybe they will push for cinematography?

The credit block is defined by the unions/guild deals. He did the work, so his name goes in those spots.

The D'Elia thing I find just awful. A film-maker having to ruin their movie because one of the cast members is a dick.

I would like to see how well the compositing of Tig works in scenes.

I am afraid they'd have to change some shots and scenes to make the replacement work.

I don't think we should finish directors for the sins of the actors.
