The goonies will get a UK release, I am pretty sure of that, it's just a matter of exercising your patience. This along with the Columbia Box Sets are among my most wanted 4k release (and I managed to pre order the Columbia 4K box set on Zavvi 2 weeks back).

Not much going on today. So I decided to research the blu ray.

This short bit has that double image fx added. I'm only 27:40 in. Gotta be more than u guys remember on here....

There is minor print damage black spots and specks at the begging with the orv races.

Wcg and hdr will be a good addition. Except the tunnels...could that be to dark. Hmm only time will tell.

This upcoming disc is supposed to be from the OCN's and many times these new 4k scans are for archival purposes, so I would assume there will be a lot more clean up than the prior Blu-ray.

Did this get pushed back, the only place I can find a preorder for it is at Walmart but they have a release date for Dec.

Was wondering this myself. Bull Moose has yet to even add it to their online inventory, but they've had Jaws 4K (which also comes out on June 2nd) up for quite some time now.

Apparently so. Most retailers have either pulled their listings or changed the release date to September.

According to Bullmoose this has been delayed but then again that’s what they said about Mask of Zorro & we know what happened with that one.

They changed the date to sept 22 along with Sherlock Holmes and it’s sequel and Full Metal Jacket.

Most of their prices are crazy the Columbia set is $200 but they are on the money with release dates.

Already ordered them Goonies steel from BestBuy the other 3 from Target b2g1. Now all I hope for is Warner to release the Exorcist and Elm Street in October but that’s wishful thinking.
