Have just finally seen this one again and my god. This is such a masterpiece and probably my favorite western film. Now I can stop again listening to the breathtaking soundtrack from Nick Cave & Warren Ellis.

I hope so so much that Criterion, Warner Archive or anyone can give us a 4K of this. It deserves it so much!!

Have you read the novel? It is excellent.

I don't read books very often either, but I really wanted to read the source novel for my all-time favorite movie. I bought an audiobook on compact disc and listened to the book on a road trip. I love the narration in the film....

As for owning a 4K of this film...?

2027 marks the twentieth anniversary of this film's release. I would rather own this film on 4K YESTERDAY...but maybe we will see a 4K materialize in 2027...?
