For me!
I was fine with the Essentials, but the price to upgrade extra for the remainder of my current subscription was too tempting too pass up. a few games I'm happy with that came with extra.

With Premium, a few streaming games I wouldn't mind checking out, but not sure its worth it. Maybe if they tease me with a cheaper price, then yes.

I'm digging it at the moment. I went ahead and upgraded to Premium because of the price I was offered.

I haven't been playing any of the older PS games. Could really care less to be honest. I still have my PS1, 2, and 3. If I wanted to play one of those games I'd load them up. Maybe if PS would offer some visual upgrades we'd talk about it.

What I've been doing is playing games that I never got around to playing. Money wise I feel it was worth it. I was going to buy Demon Souls on the PS5. Now I don't have to. The same goes with a few other games.

I think when I have to renew I'll probably just upgrade to the Extra unless they make some big changes. I want to be able to download the older system games and not stream them. They also need to add some more of those games. I'm still looking for Legend of Dragoon.

Just updated my remaining Essential to Extra. Is there a way when you're browsing the catalog on the system to only show the games available to that tier? I didn't see any filter options that did that. Obviously I can ignore stuff that says Premium but I'd rather they not be there in the first place, however.....

Miles was in the featured section and said I could download no issue on that thumbnail. Yet when browsing the library view it had a premium tag which made it seem it was only available to that tier. But then you click on it and it says its available to download on Extra but Premium adds the option to stream it.

Not that I know of. I don't think there are actually any premium games that aren't on extra. I haven't actually seen the perk of upgrading to premium yet. Besides the older system games that I'm not playing.

Finally got a free minute. On the XMB I go to the Plus symbol which is tagged Extra and press down and X on game catalog (under latest), then X on view games. I sorted by name. First game flagged Premium is Alienation. In the game tab it says upgrade to premium to stream, otherwise I can download. So in that view it shows games all in my tier. Only ones flagged Premium are simply ones I can download with my current membership or upgrade to stream.

However from the XMB if you go over to the Plus icon and press down and then up and then right to games and look at all games in that view it’s completely different. First Premium flagged game is Air Conflicts which cannot be downloaded and is streaming only. This you need Premium to play it. It’s all just a convoluted mess.

Same. I'm glad I held out picking it up when it was $19 a while back. There are some other nice games in there if folks haven't played them.

I loved AC: Origins and got my platinum. They did a big PS5 update a while back but unfortunately it doesn't add trophy support for the PS5. They just populate in from the PS4. I am hoping the free version has the DLC because I never got around to buying it.

I also had fun with Watchdogs 2. Lots of goofing off can be done in that game

I think Origins is the only mainline AC game I played that I dont have the platinum in. I may finally try now that it will be available

Come Tuesday, October 18, PS Plus Extra subscribers will be able to play even more Assassin's Creed games in the form of Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered, the three Assassin's Creed Chronicles games, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate. However, it should be pointed out that only those with PS Plus Extra and a PS4 will be able to play all of the games, as some of them are not going to be available on PS5 for reasons that still have yet to be made clear.

For unexplained reasons, it's been confirmed that Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate are only going to be playable on PS4 through PS Plus Extra, with PS5 owners being left out.

Anybody know if these titles are currently playable on a PS5?

They are playable but as mentioned by PS Blog AC Syndicate has BC issues & Ubisoft has commented that they have no plans to update the AC games with issues.

The newer AC games from Origins on all work fine on PS5.
