That was my immediate thought as well. I’m thinking I’ll have to import from the US if I want this one, as that’s such a fantastic cover typographically that I couldn’t stand ruining it with anything else.

That suuuuuucks. I'm with ya, in my disappointment. But they'll still get my money, 'cuz that old Blu is the worst lookin' Blu left on my shelf (after 4K Scream came out last year, allowing me to get rid of THAT abomination). The Reservoir Dogs Blu-ray is barely better than a DVD -- and a mid-level DVD, at that. Mercifully, I won't have any full-on PQ stinkers left in my admittedly-minimal collection, once I grab this disc. If ya want to hear this in mono, you could always cut off an ear.

The original audio mix is Dolby Stereo (matrixed surround!), we'll have to wait and see if the 5.1 is simply a repurposing of this or a different mix altogether. I'm no expert on this film so if anyone can chime in on the audio that'd be cool!

The original non-anamorphic dvd is probably the closest we’ll get to that mix in 5.1.

The 10th Anniversary DVD had a botched 6.1 mix that omitted lines of dialogue. (This was also the mix used for the Tarantino XX 20th anniversary DCP theatrical screenings).

The blu-ray mix is essentially the same in HR (not even lossless) with the previously omitted lines fixed.

Honestly shocked this didn’t get an atmos re-mix. I thought Lionsgate always did those and DV for their catalog titles.
