they're opened! So I figured I may as well just watch it!

I bought an LG BH08 Blu-ray Burner/Rom from Futureshop. Paid about 220 for it, and it works amazing. Doesn't take long to disconnect it and move it to the living room downstairs (24" monitor isn't sufficient enough for RAMBO! )

Plays through powerDVD with no problems whatsoever!

To Sierra, PowerDVD works great, it's only downfall is the amount of times the Region can be changed. Not sure why they do that, but a program called SlyDVD changes all of that

Yes Sierra that seems to be the only way for us Canadians. I'm going to eventually build another system that will stay in the living room permanently. But those players JW just posted are a very good price also considering the Cdn$ is going the right way now!

Depending on your budget, I've heard a lot of good things about the Momitsu region free blu-ray player.

http://www.momitsu.com/bdp_899.html

Here's a retailer in North America that carries them...

Or you get yourself a LG BH200 standalone player. It plays all DVD, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD discs regardless of region. Even DVD-ROM. Only the Blu-Ray region has to be changed by a code on the remote control.

Hey guys, tomorrow we might have a good show on eBay, at 20:40 PM ET someone will have spend an arm and a leg to get a brand new sealed holy grail!

I'm only collecting sealed Steelbooks but there's one exception, John Rambo!
I'll be watching the last minutes of the auction though.
It will be quite a race.

Nope we won't

It has been taken down again. I was looking forward to seeing how much it would go for.

How much is it?
It's only $0.15 CAD to list them in Canada. (with 1 picture and no extra)
The fees are outrageous when we sell Steels though.

Actually, it is $0.10CDN to list, and yeah, I agree that the Final Value Fees are ridiculious.

The I Am Legend is still up though. Be interesting to see what that one goes for.

cheers

How do you post your auctions to eBay? I just use the online tool and I get charged $0.10 after discounts, but they are standard for everyone.

cheers

I guess I'm a bit late to the party, but really happy nonetheless ... . Really can't believe the colors on the artwork on this one - the red is just great to say the least. All props to AB who did all the legwork on my behalf.

...now if I could only get one of those nifty Region B players jw has been riding hard lately ... ... definitely next on my list...
