I just recently got into Steelbooks and I'm looking for something that I can use to protect them. Is anyone currently selling any or are there any existing group buys going on right now? Please let me know. Thanks!

Oh boy..this picture looks like the steelbook is gonna fall apart if you don't hold it tight enough...it looks so loose...lots of dust build up on the top of the case

Below are a few sample pics:

You can buy some sleeves on ebay from a guy in the UK very inexpensive. That's what I did and they do the job just fine.

I forgot to dust the top of them before I took the photographs. The bottom line is, is that I use my steelbooks, I don't store them in some kind of plastic bag and it isn't that loose. These slipcovers are good for if you actually need to use the steelbook. They just protect them when they are stored (Stops them from rubbing). Personally, I hate the so called "plastic bag" protection. I might aswell put a Asda bag over it and rap it round.

Dear steelbook collectors

Are there any protection sleeves for steelbooks like the Lord of the rings, up and Monsters Inc...

Because now i have nothing to protect them! How did you solve this problem except a plastic transparent bag

Greetings Bart Delien

I ordered through a friend 10x (10) of these Steelbook sleeves from protected.de but got shafted with a wrong product. Sellers like this make me just so ****ing angry because it's so annoying. This website doesn't deliver to Norway where I live, so I ordered them through a friend in a different country and after like 1,5 months I finally got them into my hands. But when I opened the package I saw I have 100 of these:

(edit: the URL doesnt work but the "Artikelnummer: 8400, Verkaufseinheit: 100 Stück", plastic ones for regular blurays) = worth 3,60 eur when my order was 59,90 eur + shipping. Irritating to start to spend time correcting this.

On a positive note; after complaining this company apologised and sent an e-mail right away saying they'll the correct product and it was simply a packaging error. Let's hope I'll get the right sleeves this time.

I just ordered some plastic bags from shop4tech and found a 20% off coupon. Ended up paying $5.23 total . Use coupon code MGR20 if you're going to buy some of these bags.

Default Jumbo steelbook protection

Is there a type of plastic casing I can buy to protect a my Doctor Who series 5 jumbo steelbook?

It's autographed by Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. It was supposedly perminant ink, but a tiny little bit was wiped off. I don't want the autographs to get wiped off.

There is no specific protection for the Jumbo steels. A plastic bag may suffice

Just because you hate jumbo steels, doesn't mean everyone does.

I have the UP Jumbo steel. And yes I do not like them . Would of been a lot nicer if they extended the outer casing, so that it would fit over the entire inner plastic shell, top & bottom .
