I bought an original pressing of BeBop Deluxe - Modern Music on ebay Thursday night. It was listed as excellent condition, both cover and vinyl. We shall see when it arrives. I needed this one to round out my collection from that band. Somehow, somewhere, my own original pressing "disappeared." Now, if I can also find an original pressing of "I Robot" I'll be really really happy.

First time I noticed that was about 6 months or so ago. I was surprised, but happily so!

You know you order a lot of records when your Fedex guy knows you on a first name basis, and you convinced him to buy a turntable.

Just got another package.

For me it's definately an addiction and has been since the late 60's. I have over 3,000 LP's and I still can't get enough. There is always that ONE vinyl I want and NEED!

And people think collecting Blu-ray's is an obsession!

I was shocked-shocked at how good this record was. Never heard it, really bought it for the Get Smart theme and was surprised how good the record was overall.

They didn't have vinyl until quite recently, like within the last couple months.

If you have a US PO Box then it's still cheaper I believe to order in the US...but not everyone has that luxury. Hopefully Amazon.ca will start to keep Sunrise and the Indie's a bit more honest.

DMB's newest album Big Whiskey is $41.99 at my local Sunrise, it's $15 over the river with a $19.99 MSRP. Not cool.

Plus the xchg right now on my CC is around 1.12 which is really quite bearable.

That's insane! Pays to look around. I personally like Amazon UK...have gotten some good deals there.

Nice hauls CK and btf!

I'm hoping to cash in on a few next weekend at the record fair here in Toronto. Gonna try to compile somewhat of a preliminary list and take it from there. I've got the itch again as I haven't picked up any vinyl (new or used) in over 6 weeks.
