I think it still all depends on whether or not the DB in coverage is anticipating the route. If you time it perfectly then you can get a little separation. I guess they change it b/c 5-6 years ago (the last version of Madden I owned) comeback routes/Curls with a WR in motion would get 5-10 yards of separation every time lol.

Just Down, you have to get the timing right, you have to thrwo when they reach the peak of their route. If their good route runners(I.e. Andre) they'll fall down and catch the ball near the ground everytime, sometimes, they'll cath it low then truck the DB if they have bad Tackle! Best To do this is In Man, Zone can work but is But when You have a Very Good WR u see alot of Man Coverage anyway |
