Finished Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters 3D.

Blah. Still think the 3D didn't add much to the boring story, and uninspired acting.

Watched Gravity...not the best 3D I've seen as the review makes it out to be, but it's not bad either. Better than most titles but not up to par with the bigger well renowned 3D titles. What I'm trying to say is that it's not the second coming...

Watched: I thought the picture was stunning and was really drawn into the movie, a few neat popouts here and there also.
Was really wanting to get the Thor steelbook, but it looks like I missed the boat on that one I think Bestbuy priced it to cheaply, not surprised it sold out I guess.

Watched:

Thor: The Dark World

I don't know what all the fuss is about when it comes to the 3D, I thought it looked great.

Been awhile since I have been on here, I have been rather busy. Updated my theater album finally got to paint our room. Need another coat of red on the walls to even it out, but ran out of time this weekend, so check it out and let me know what you think! As far as movies go I picked up Thor: The Dark World, Gravity, The Penguin King, Hellbenders, Sanctum, and Monsters vs Aliens.

Watched some of "Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor 3D" ... and I'll be honest, it's really not my cup of tea, I maybe watched 30 minutes of it before I shut it off. Then again, I never really got into Doctor Who with Matt Smith as this eleventh Doctor ... although I'm certainly no male model, this guy is just painful to look at.

Why women are enamored with this guy is a mystery to me.

However, the little mini-episode (included on the disc) of "The Night of the Doctor" with Paul McGann as the eighth Doctor was very enjoyable, I liked his portrayal in this particular episode and it makes me wish they would have had at least a full season with him on board.

I really like sanctum.

I find it to be good 3D and a good suspenseful movie.

And I cant wait to see Thor the Dark world again. It doesnt come out in Australia until next week.

The last one I watched was Predator last week, and I have Thor out ready to watch tonight to help get ready. I may even watch Avengers again tonight.

Bought Monster House and Open Season yesterday.

Just finished watching Gravity. Really liked the movie, great 3D and sound. There is so much beyond the story in that movie. A rare movie where you can't turn the brain switch to off

Gravity in 3D, can honestly say it's the best use of 3D I've seen for a while.

Watched Penguin King 3D. The 3D was really nothing special (nowhere near as good as the various IMAX documentries) I did enjoy the actual concept of following 2 main character penguins throughout there life, from teenagers to adults.
[Show spoiler]Even though there is one sad part where his wife gets eaten by a killer whale while he's waiting for her. But that's nature.
Even though, I could have done without the penguin sex, to be honest.

Now, admittedly penguins are one of my favorite animals, so YMMV.

Watched Gravity this evening, really good movie, and the use of 3D was terrific. Someone gave it a 3 here, I'd wonder about your set up because it was easily a 4.5 out of 5.

Really impressed by it.

Watched this tonight also. Have to agree with you about the 3D, no pop outs, with the exception of maybe a few snowflakes or water drops, and even depth wise there wasn't much. The movie itself though wasn't to bad, wasn't great either, but still kind of interesting.

Same here, just finished watching it. I was blown away by the 3D, I couldn't imagine watching it any other way.
