There's always somebody counting and checking, isn't there? Anyway, there's actually 11 - if you include the 2 1940's serials and the Adam West "movie" (12 if you want to count the upcoming Lego masterpiece : Lego: The Piece of Resistance).

How did you get it to show up on VUDU? My accounts are linked, and it only showed BB & TDK. The rest didn't show up.

Man, I swore to myself a while back that I wouldn't get the Batman Begins and TDK steelbooks, but over the last couple months I've been quite tempted. The fact that they come with digital copies and that I can also own a TDKR digital copy early is making me contemplate dumping my copies for steels. Plus, it'd be nice, I suppose, to have a uniform collection (right now, I have Batman Begins in a slipless amaray, TDK with a slip, and plan to get the TDKR steel).

A few questions, that I'm not sure have been answered yet, but likely have:

Does the trilogy coming out next week include UV copies of all 3 films? And if so, is it also likely that next year's UCE trilogy will do the same?

It has always bugged me that I didn't have a digital copy of Batman Begins, and right now I have a lone iTunes copy of TDK. It would be sort of nice to have all 3 in the same format (would prefer iTunes, but I will have to settle for UV).

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the BB and TDK steels don't have inside artwork, right?

Thanks for the help guys, and sorry if the questions I'm asking were recently answered or are common knowledge.

I can't seem to play the digital copy TDKR on Flixster or Vudu. It doesn't even show up on Vudu using my Oppo BD player. Maybe they are on to it?

When you preorder at a Best Buy store can you use the RZ certificates like you would during normal transaction? I have $20.

Yes. You need the complete bar code number if you don't want to print out the certificates - not the BB.com number, which is shorter, but the longer number beneath the bar code.

P.S. I just double-checked with the local BB and they say it's cool as long as the RZ certs are less than the before tax cost of the item. So you're good-to-go.

You enter the code I assume, if you've downloaded and installed flixster as an application once you log in via the application, search for TDKR:Prologue click download... should be like 2.45/2.48 gbs and that will be the movie. It works because I'm enjoying it now

not sure about the vudu stuff.

The Dark Knight Returns part 1 isn't the only animated Batman movie... There's too many to count! From the DCAU ones from these last few years, the DTV movies for some of the more recent shows, to the BTAS ones...
And I think there was one with Scooby Doo :P

Same issue here. If the file is for the full movie, then it could take hours to load the file before it shows. Will check around 10pm to see if there.

Loaded cinemanow app on my iPad but after activating iPad and authorizing account w ultraviolet and cinemanow, my list is empty in the app. Ugh!

I don't know about Flixter but with Vudu, it could be that the movie isn't registered as available as it is stated as coming Dec 4th with no early release.

I wanted a uniform set because I'm getting the TDKR steelbook. I don't know if it's going on now, but they had a promotion where if you purchased the other steelbooks, you get a $5 gift card for each purchase. So, I got them for $10, plus $10 toward TDKR. I know the films are still $10 each, but not sure about the gift card. I pre-ordered online.

In my opinion, it should be at least an hour for each film!
So the whole exclusive best buy documentary is only 38 min and a download. Damn that is way to short to cover 3 movies and only a download that really sucks

Well i think i will go with the regular version then with its 3 hours of bonus content on it

Yeah I'm curious if the "$5 toward TDKR" deal is promo is still going on.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or if anyone else tried it yet but:

I just searched BestBuy.com for "The Dark Knight Trilogy." There are three results:

1. Dark Knight Trilogy [5 Discs / Blu-ray] (Blu-ray Disc)
2. Dark Knight Trilogy [3 Discs] (DVD)
3. The Dark Knight Trilogy w/ Exclusive Content (Blu-ray Disc)

The item synopsis for #3 reads, "Exclusive content includes: The Dark Knight Reborn - 35 Minute Documentary, with behind the scenes footage of The Dark Knight Trilogy."

It appears as though Best Buy will be offering access to the Reborn documentary with the trilogy if you buy it from them. Also, this makes me think that the documentary is going to be a download only, unless it is included as an add-on disc or Best Buy gets slightly altered packaging for their Exclusive Trilogy set.

And yes, this also seems to confirm that the full length of Reborn is, in fact, 35 minutes.
