When I watched T2 in 3D I didn't notice any conversion errors. What scene was it with the background in front? The 3D conversion was prime imo.

When it started, showing the war in the future before the title credits. Since I’m in the minority maybe my old eyes were just playing tricks.

I've seen the background in front issue before and I think it was because the left and right eyes were swapped.

Hi Okie

Will have to watch it again. Don't recall those abnormalities.

Could it be a bad disc authoring?

Have you tried it on other equipment or even did a power off cache clear of the blu-ray player?

I played Valerian and it still looked great.

With the T2 theme park ride having some of the best 3D I've seen, I still haven't brought myself to see this 3D bluray because of this.

While it might be the best Terminator film overall, I still don't like the ending very much, so that hasn't helped motivate me to fire up the 3D bluray. Though I recently learned that I've only seen extended cuts of this film.

You should check out the 3-D Blu. While I don’t love the film, the 3-D really helps it, and I detected no abnormalities. I’ll still never understand why most people rate the action-oriented sequel above the first film. Bigger, louder, flashier, more expensive, but about one tenth the impact of the dark and gritty sci-fi noir thriller classic that was THE TERMINATOR.

100% with you on that one! Michael Biehn's superb starring turn in the first film is the main thing that, for me, elevates it way above Judgement* Day.

I re-watched Everest a couple of days ago. Some fabulous 3D in this one, it's up there among my favourite 3D movies.

As mentioned I rewatched Valerion. Great 3D both depth and pop outs from the menu on. The Atmos track is awesome, the ships computer comes out of the height speakers throughout, not to be missed. Highest recommendation, and yeah Everest is also great, with you Will!

I'd watch Valerian again for some of its visuals - but I'm not sure that I could cope with the performances from those two lead actors again..!

(Everest being another nice 3D Blu-ray with Atmos track too.)

The visuals are so great it’s easy to ignore the leads. THe Atmos is worth the price of admission. He should have used Bruce and Milla.

Calling them wooden would be an insult to trees lol. However to be fair, I thought the story was very interesting so that (along with the 3D and decent audio) kept me engaged. I can easily see me watching this again. Jupiter Ascending has similar 3D with an even better audio mix. But I would struggle to go through that again. You might get away with an interesting story with dodgy acting or a not so great story with great acting. But you rarely can get away with both a boring story and dodgy acting.

Hi Sam,

My thoughts exactly. The two lead actors appear like college freshmen. But great 3D

Loved pretty much everything about Jupiter Ascending, one of the most underrated films I’ve ever seen, and the 3-D is very good indeed. I’ll never understand the vitriol it gets. My second fave film by the Wachowskis, after Bound.

Me too! A lot of 3D looks dull, but this one the colors really pop!

That's the clearest example of damning with feint praise I've seen in some time lol.

What I said is factually correct. What you are assuming is what you think he means and that may also be correct. The actual answer may be somewhere in the middle

Nope. He said “Me too!” Which means, on its face, that he agreed with what I wrote. What you said is an assumption.
