Don't feel bad man.. $50 bucks is NOT a deal for this. At some point FS & BB have had SSN1 for $39 and SSN2 for $29. Those are good prices. Plus eventually they will release the box set with all 7 seasons. I'm holding out for that.

It will be WAY cheaper than buying all these individually.

They were just matching FS price, and that sale ended yesterday.

Yeah, but then you will have to wait a long time (at least 1 more year).

Yeah, I already bought seasons 1 and 2 when they went on sale. No way I'm waiting for a boxset. $50 is my high point with these sets. Hoping for $35-40.

Playtime Criterion blu ray which is OOP is now $40. Makes no sense since they're out of stock and the disc is OOP. Still ordered 1 copy though, just in case.

I put in an order too. Would be a total blind buy for me if the order goes through. I know almost nothing about the film other than the critical acclaim.

Also, The Dark Knight Pt. 1 and 2 combo is finally up on Amazon.ca for $23.29.

I hope you like subtle sight gag humor with next to no dialog then.

I'm kicking myself for not buying this back last November when it was on B&N for $19.99USD.

Let us know if the order actually gets sent.

Yes, sorry. Should've clarified that. It's a decent price given that .com has it at $24.99 and usually everything is always more expensive at .ca

I prefer watching the two animated movies over the Chris Nolan Batman movies any day of the week.

Well that's good to hear! 'Cause I love the Nolan films, and haven't seen either of these yet. I just ordered a copy for myself, and one for a friend

Oh yeah, I was talking about this but a quick search gave me just the single copies. Thanks for the link!

Planet of the apes collection $25
Still debating if I should get it. I remember liking them when I saw them as a kid 20 years ago but not sure I'll enjoy them today... not sure if it has been cheaper but the price seems good for this set.

The Nolan movies were not that bad. They were the best live-action Batmans to date.

I haven't see the animated ones, but have read the graphic novels already. I am sure they are good, but I doubt they can top the books.

The Nolan films are way too overrated. The Tim Burton films easily trump the Nolan films. For one thing the Tim Burton films embrace the comic books whereas the Nolan films don't want to touch the comic books with a 10 foot pole but instead want a realistic view of the super hero.

To each their own, right. I find the animated ones to be cheaply made (yeah I pretty much hate all computer animated series' style of animation, not as awesome as actual hand drawn), and a bit too goofy. The based in reality idea I embrace, but the Nolan films have their BS moments as well. Having said all this, I am curious to see both of the Dark Knight Returns parts at some point but will likely not purchase 'em..
