It's Season 2 (A's), I just stayed to recognise the opening rather than find out from the episode itself :P

Was away for the weekend and was treated to seeing everyone's excellent hauls upon return, nice pickups everyone!

The few photos I've seen online do not give this set any justice at all, and I couldn't even find photos of the insides of the sets, so my purchase was somewhat a blind buy - I had planned to mod the set into a BD/DVD combo set, but I didn't realize the internals were Digipaks - and gorgeous ones at that... so, since I can't really mod them, I'm leaving this set exactly the way it is, and will just cherish it as a collector's item. Plus, this set is in absolute perfect condition - not a scratch or rub or pick on it anywhere... and I got it for less than $50!

Because I think this is such a beautiful set, and because of the lack of photos for the internals anywhere online, I went overboard with posting up pics - but I think it is well worth it. Enjoy these - take note that there is some really good reference material for the series in the two Liner Notes booklets, for any Twelve Kingdoms fans...
Excellent images. I love Twelve Kingdoms. Don't own the show on Blu yet but was recently rewatching some of it on DVD and while it looked decent enough I can only imagine how great it must look in HD.

Nice pickups, and RS must have an overflow of Heat Guy J and Armitage inventory that they are trying to get rid of. Those are the same exact titles I got from their $10 blind box sale during March.

Thanks vince - Yep, love that 12 Kingdoms! Very nice in HD, too...

And if you want to see what the new Durarara! set looks like, just look at my pics of the the lunchbox set I posted way back in this thread... - the chipboard box and internals are going to be identical, I'm sure - The only thing not included will be the lunchbox itself...

That Dura lunchbox (and Noir, too!) and inside contents are looking quite lovely.

Am planning to get the reissued AoA box for Dura sans lunchbox but will have to wait a few more paychecks before doing so.

Am still in the process of recovering from the Fate Zero boxes that I ordered recently, they are out for delivery today so am excited about that!

Haha, I had to chuckle a little about this one when I took it out of the package today - I picked this up from an online seller, a music shop of some kind. Got it for under $30 - lol, evidently somebody didn't get the price they were originally asking for in the store, but then they didn't bother to remove their sticker before shipping it...

They probably did that to make you think you got a great deal and makes you more likely to leave positive feedback.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm assuming the same theory on overflow. I noticed on another forum, some people got complete sets of Gasaraki or Antique Bakery from Pi Day. That would have been nice to get instead of getting two vol 1s of the same thing. I already owned a copy of Armitage Dual Matrix before the blind buy too. Oh well, I can always give away my extras to friends.

Also, I've noticed some of the later single volumes of Heat Guy J on Rightstuf have quantities of under 100. So I need to grab those before they disappear.

Actually surprised you have that. I think that was like the second LE I ever purchased.

yep, I've owned the regular edition with the slip for quite a long time, but I'm upgrading as many of my regular titles in my collection as I can with LE boxes - so I'll be adding the standard slip version to my sell pile... I guess you could say that Vampire Bund is the token naked-loli title in my anime collection, lol... actually, I thought it had an excellent story - really wish they would have continued that one...

Talk about coincidence, I was actually trying to remember the name of an old mecha show I watched and enjoyed a long while back and wow, it was Gasaraki. That would've been a nice surprise seeing a complete set for that show up as a cheap blind box item, for sure. And usually just give away my extras to friends/co-workers, as well.

Recently treated myself to both boxes of the AoA release of Fate Zero. Got them delivered today -

I usually try not to over spend but I love the show, plus the video nerd in me wanted to get the higher quality found in this set in spite of the high price ceiling.

I've access to the first disc of the UK release of Fate Zero and am planning to take some comparison shots fairly soon.

If you watch Vampire Bund, you just have to bear through most of the first episode - it starts out as a corny game show episode, but near the end all heck breaks loose and it does set up the story nicely from there... after that first odd episode, it's just becomes a very good story, I think.

Ah yes, the Fate/Zero releases are soon to be mine as well - still deciding on if I want to splurge on the JP releases, but those would even more than the price of the US Aniplex boxes...

My hauls from February and March.
Had to buy a case for the Sankarea replacement discs. Anyone know of a way I can make a good quality case cover for it?

Are you talking about the coverart? If it was ripped I'd get a replacement.
