Until 2017 most Fox catalog titles with Digital HD were UV or Google Play (sometimes UV only). But this year they have not really put out any catalog titles in the way they had been, where there would be like 7 movies released at once. This year there have been I think, 14 catalog releases, all including iTunes as an option. All were titles released to promote sequels in franchises. Except for The Passion of the Christ and Heat.

As for Lionsgate, it really seems like what is listed is the way it is, but really seems like they will do what they want.

Code sheets from Paramount, Lionsgate, and Universal say UV or iTunes. But redeem the codes directly at iTunes and Vudu and you should get both. When both are offered.

Never use the Universal site. If you do and redeem UV first it will claim iTunes won't work. But if you redeem iTunes first it will still redeem UV. But none of that matters. The codes will still redeem at iTunes and Vudu, if it hasn't been used at that vendor yet.

Curiously it doesn't seem like Vudu ever enabled The Dinner for UV, I purchased it on Vudu (not code redeem) and it never ported over. This makes me wonder if redeeming a code for The Dinner even gives UV at all or if it's just some sort of Vudu only redeem.

Edit: I see there are quite a few more recent releases that do no ever seem to have been UV enabled in Vudu including The Hero (Lionsgate), Cartels (Lionsgate), and Bates Motel: Season 5 (Universal, I suspect UV is just delayed).

My experience is that a bundle shows up as a bundle on the service you redeem it on but when it ports to other services then it shows up as individual items. Same with many UV TV shows, they show up as a season on the service you redeem it on but porting to another account/service it just shows you own all episodes.

Hello there! I just realised yesterday after giving it a try that The Lord of the Rings trilogy Theatrical BD itunes codes that came out in 2010 were redeemable on UV via VUDU but now that I am trying to redeem the Extended 2011 codes it doesnt work. :/
Either VUDU is having trouble right now or something or this is a bust...
Does anyone know anything?
I opened a ticket on UV but they dont seem to know anything. They seemed like they couldnt even understand what I am asking.

The original Lord of the Rings extended set had iTunes XML codes, not Vudu/UV.

Just noticed Universal is no longer a UV retailer or whatever it was. I use to be able to see my UV collection at Universalhidef. But now they tell you to to go Fandango or Vudu.

I have redeemed Iron Man 1 and Iron Man 2. Both give the new version in iTunes. Both show iTunes Extras.
