It looks like I may be right. Toy packaging describes the ax as an "ancient scepter."

With the 4 hour Justice League cut being released in the UK on Sky Cinema per March 18th as the main platform, I'm thinking with only a fortnight to go that Godzilla Vs. Kong (if it holds the current 26th date) will be very likely on the same service. Fingers crossed.

AMC posted this as well. Now the question is IMAX or Dolby?

Looking at Kong's arms, I wonder if he's gonna
[Show spoiler]absorb Godzilla's blast through that scepter to make himself more powerful.
Certainly would make for an interesting fight!

If you're referring to the colors on Kong's arms, that's not what's going on. This upcoming 6" Kong figure is a repaint of one that's already out. There's also a Godzilla, and Funko Pops of both, in this color scheme. It represents the neon lights shining on them during the Hong Kong battle.

Just saw a Arizona Walmart finding for the Mechagodzilla and neon repaint figures. Cool to see they're already in stores. All of the Walmarts around me are in desperate need of new stock.

U.K. rental release confirmed officially as April 1 (no, seriously), just under 3 weeks.

It's you. That's just a bit of generic drumming, which is normal for his scores. The closest this gets to Ifukube is the almost knock-off-of-Godzilla-theme melody used at the beginning.

how does age work in legendary monsterverse??

Godzilla is Over 252 million years old (Was alive prior to the Permian-Triassic extinction event)

and Kong is like 65 years old... what could be his natural life span?

If Godzilla is considered a dinosaur - there were no dinosaurs on Earth during the Permian Period. They arrived during the Triassic Period.

The Legendary Godzilla isn't a dinosaur since it predates dinosaurs.
Godzilla would probably outlive everything. I see GvK Kong being probably halfway through his life span.
