Speaking of SoA, I would like to get the complete series even though I've never seen a single episode. I believe the two or three collections that they had are all OOP.

As for the bike, it's a 2025 Suzuki DR650S which has a MSRP of $7,199. It's a dual sport meaning that it's a street legal dirt bike. If I wanted to go ride at a local motorcycle park or some backroads, I don't need a truck and trailer. I can legally ride on the public roads to get there
I found one at a dealer in Modesto that had one for $700 off MSRP. I called them to find out the reason for the lower price. They had at least two other DRs for the regular $7,199. I was wondering if there was something wrong with it. It turns out that it was just the one that had already been set up and that they had had the longest.

So the total price they offered OTD was $8,050. I also saved $250 for the military discount so the MSRP would have dropped to $6,249. Besides the usual tax, licensing and registration, you will often pay for freight and setup. I guess most bikes arrive in crates and they aren't fully set up yet so they charge a fee for that.

Anyway, there are some expensive bikes out there that cost as much as cars but there are also some new ones that you can find even cheaper than my bike. Obviously you have a family to support where I only have myself, but you could definitely get yourself a bike...with the boss' approval
Have you seen that movie The Bikeriders?

I thought it was decent. It was about one of the earliest motorcycle clubs. You'd like it.

Read this article from The Smithsonian after you see the movie.

I did catch that one in the theater and thought it was pretty good. I haven't picked it up on Blu Ray but I may do so someday. I'm about to pick out tonight's film but I'll try and remember to come back read the article you linked I did go out for a ride today so I'll post a couple pics later.

I thought it was the weakest (poor writing) of the 3 seasons but still enjoyed it. Solid cast as well.

-Issacs was great

-Goggins killed it

I did.....wasn't bad...thought they were more transparent about how this season would play into next season. Previous seasons, I didn't see what was coming and how the seasons would inter-twine like they did.

I read that all actors get $40,000 per episode, no negotiating or differences regardless of popularity. This appears to be a project where you can get the PR you need to step up your career.

That's it?! Now we know why Woody turned it down haha. Totally agree that scoring a slot on the show will boost your career from all the hype and popularity.

There was just something about this season that didn't click for me. I think that maybe it was the resort staff. They all seemed boring to me and overall, the season lacked the humor from the first two.

Are Christmas decorations being up all year long supposed to be in style now? Two of my neighbors still have lights and other stuff up on their windows. One of them even turns the lights on. I also see some lights on in windows in high rises in my neighborhood. I don't get it. Maybe it's some kind of mass hysteria of nostalgia lol.

I went to Costco yesterday and the ice cream machine was down. Would I call that devastating? Well no, not out loud anyway But I'm feeling like one now and I would want to go to the same Costco. So if all I have to do is go to a closer Costco that has their machine working, I would rather just stay home and get my sundae another day. I did see an attractive Colombian girl there yesterday that I hadn't seen in several months. I've mentioned before how you will see a group of Colombians there every single day doing Instacart. You might not always see the same ones but I guarantee you, you will see at least two or three every day of the year that Costco is open.

Isn’t that machine down often? I read that they’re introducing a banana strawberry smoothie soon. I miss Costco.

Now if they ran out of pepperoni pizza, that would be devastating.

I should make today a no-spend day. Even though I have my bike now and it's paid for, I still want to save for another bike. I think I'm going to wait and go tomorrow, assuming the machine is back up, and then pop over to Cycle Gear where two packages should be delivered today. I may walk down to Taco Bell Cantina and get me their $5.20 (upgrade to L soda costs $.20) box. That's even cheaper than the $6.54 I normally pay at Costco; hot dog combo, slice of pepperoni pizza and strawberry sundae.

I do prefer the Costco pizza over Sam’s. Too bad they got rid of their supreme option.

I haven't watched a single episode. That goes for most series that have been on streaming services. I don't "do" streaming services except for 227 and when I'm at my oldest sister's house to dog sit, but I haven't done that in almost a year. And when I do, It usually older movies or TV shows. The only reason I do it though is because my sister's Blu-ray player acts wonky a lot of the time so I can't rely on it to work for me.

I used to keep mine up all the time. Christmas lights can be very cool lighting in the house. Especially the blue and white ones.

Why bother? It's not as though you'll get to ever watch the damn thing. You'll just have to return it and return it and return it til pigs actually stat flying commercial air.

That's why I don't have someone significant in my life. I don't want to have to answer to someone else when I want to do something or buy something. NO WAY JOSE CUERVO.

I haven't heard of this brand. Is this one you would find in stores or at a restaurant?

When I was on vacation to visit my parents in Georgia last year, I had Kilwins in Asheville and then again in Gatlinburg and I thought it was quite tasty.

It might only be in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic currently. They’ll probably expand to other regions at some point, as it get super busy.
