Doesn't the San Andreas fault terminate around that area of the State? Seems to be a lot of activity up and down the Pacific lately.

I think Red said there is another fault around that area.....not too long now before CA falls into the ocean.

The east coast of North America from the North Carolina/Virginia border northward with do that 100 to 150 years before the west coast of North America does.

Default Criterion’s July releases

Super stoked for Barry Lyndon but very curious if it will get a UK release and by whom.

I'm at IHOP and about to leave and get my bike and go for a ride. It's a little cooler than I'd like it to be which I don't think will be an issue except for the hands. I'll be wearing gloves for protection but they seem like they would be better for warm weather. The first time I went out for a ride and was wearing the gloves, I felt the cold in my hands a bit. Hopefully it warms up a bit as the day progresses.

What's the coolest it gets in San Diego? As a lifelong East Coaster, it's hard for me to imagine California being anything but sunny and warm year round but I do know there are parts of the State where it actually snows (which blows my mind lol). There's a town called Truckee where temps get down into the teens

I live close to the Southern border and during this past winter it was mostly in the 40's at night. If may drop under 40 a few times but not often.

I have to take medicine to sleep or i'm in agony the whole night long. I am in a fog a little bit in the morning, but it's worth it.

I think I am going to at least go get him and his wife a nice gift card or something to a local restaurant or something. Wish i had more to give him but i am strapped with bills I have coming up.

Give them a subscription to a jelly of the month club. It's the gift that keeps on giving year round.

I first read that as 65 days. Then I wonder why it took you so long to post about it.

From what I read, the fault line that they think it was (Elsinore Fault) branches from the San Andreas.

And you have it wrong. Everything East of the San Andreas will plunge into the Atlantic.

I'm about 65 miles northeast of San Diego, and it can get into the mid 20s here. We actually got enough snow here to take the kids sledding/tubing the last week of the year about 10 years ago. One of the funnest Christmas/New Year's I've had living in Cali.

But it has been mild the last few winters, and even where I am it has mostly been in the 40s at night like russ said, and dipped into the 30s a couple of times.
