Well finally got my big shipment in today.

The Exile slipbox has some slight damage but I can't complain as I got both part one and two.

Size comparison...haha

I like the drawing reproductions. Togo ones are nice and it was cool getting the Yuni ones as well.

Did yours come smashed in the box? My illustrations are a little bent because they were not packed nicely. I e-mailed RS, but no response yet.

Yeah. I didn't receive one. RS just sent me the discs only for the Sankarea replacement program they had because it was edited on the first release.

Well, Siren Visual finally responded and said that they are trying make arrangements with the individual to get my Kai set sent to me. Interestingly enough, they said they are located in Pennsylvania. Kind of a coincidence...

Yeah that is the first time it has ever happened to me. It was like Christmas.

A little the Togo one was a little bent at the end but the drawings themselves were fine. However the covert art on the my Denki set has a tear on it. I'm thinking about sending it back.

I always have difficulty updating the database on here. The DVD "A Town Called Hell" scanned just fine, but the other two don't seem to be in the database, if someone would be so kind as to add them for me. I took a picture of the UPC on the back of the other two DVDs.

Oh, they're still in stock? I bought mine during the Christmas sale and they had a counter going at that point.

/went to check.
Yup. Only 30 now. And only $21.99, eight bucks less than the Anime Classics edition.

I guess I didn't see it during the sale, how much was it going for then?
Yep, $21.99 is what I paid.

Have a quick question for anyone else who owns the AoA release of Fate Zero, did your first disc from box 1 have any scratches on it?

Because mine is scratched to high hell, in particular it has those circular scratch marks on it, it basically looks like a used Netflix rental disc. But in spite of scratches, the disc works fine. I ran it through my PS4 and Oppo and it played back fine from beginning to end, I was also able to rip the disc with makeMKV without any issues. I checked all the other discs and they were fine. Am thinking of getting a replacement for that scratched disc but am not the type to return things that aren't broken.

The BDs in my first set were fine, but the bonus DVD did have that trademark circular scratch that I tend to find far too frequently when I order AoA products.

Looks G2 to me. Probably just the angle of the picture.

Yeah, probably just the angle but just had to be sure, I remember getting unpleasntly surprised with a G1 case for Rideback some years back, haha, that was no fun.

I have a theory on what may have caused the scratches, though not a very good one.

I noticed that the contents - the three g2 cases, art booklet and card were crammed tightly into the box, it was difficult getting them out. I was gentle enough but I was thinking that since they were smooshed in there, some of that pressure was causing the disc to make contact with the case? But I dunno, then all of the other discs would be scratched, as well.

At the end of the day, someone was probably having fun watching the first disc on their laptop when they saw my order for it pop up and put it back in the case.

It would've been funny if the April Fools blind box would've been like... a bottle of Coke or McDonalds Apple Pie or something
