Should I be worried Crunchyroll says the order is processing but also states that it was shipped yesterday? That seems to be a contradiction or maybe not

Hmm it happens but I wouldn’t be too concerned. Give it a day or two.

When I brought up the amount of discs, I was poking fun at myself because of all the scratched discs I’d have to deal with.
I bet you've probably already checked out the Moviezyng pre-order listing page, but if not, the Murder, She Wrote: The Complete Series Blu-ray boxset is now available to pre-order on there. The later estimate of how much it will be (not including shipping etc.) was correct ($150 rounded off).

It will include the Magnum crossover and four post-series TV films. Haven't yet looked at the North America thread, but the details have likely already been posted in there (a preview of the artwork was posted in the thread yesterday).

That is a decent price for 12 seasons.

Yes, very reasonable for what you're getting. I need to find out if the boxset will be limited edition (hoping it won't be, like Universal's US Blu-ray boxset of The Incredible Hulk).

Recently, I've been hoping that we will see The Invaders get a Blu-ray upgrade from CBS/Paramount (the two season Roy Thinnes series). It should have had a third season.

Q: What do you call a Mormon's Borg spouse?
A: Wife 7 of 9.

My coasting life may finally be coming to an end. So I live a very simple life. I don't really have anyone in my life that depends on me. No wife, ex, kids, sick relatives etc. My whole life, I've pretty much always done what I want when I want. Obviously I had my job to work around but other than that, my time was mine.

Well I talked to my dad's sister the other day and it was in regards to his will. My dad will be 75 this year and he may have several more years left but he's showing signs of dementia. They want to get the will taken care of while he's still mentally sound (enough) and can make those decisions on his own. The plan is for me to become his power of attorney and one day, I'll eventually inherit his house. I'm his only child so there is no one else to share anything with.

The thing is, I asked my aunt to reach out to my mom and she did and now it sounds like they both think it would be a good idea if I moved back in with him and took care of him for as long as needed. I've noticed memory issues with my dad, especially in the last month, but other than that, he can still take care of himself. He doesn't have much of a life at nearly 75, but he gets out and does a bit here and there. Tennis is his big thing and I think he still plays every Sunday.

But the idea of me moving back in...Unfortunately, he doesn't live in San Jose and he doesn't even live in the Bay Area. He lives about an hour and fifteen minutes away with no traffic. That's not too far but I really don't want to do that commute to work five days a week. The traffic in the Bay Area can be awful but I do work a schedule that I think would have me going against the traffic. But I've done that commute before for the exact same job and I really don't want to do it again. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position where I can have him move in with me right now.

Anyway, so some stuff that's a bit heavier than motorcycles and Colombians on my mind right now. What's making it worse is my mom seems to be fully invested in this idea of having me move back in and I think it's for my own benefit in regards to any inheritance. But the pressure from her is not making this situation any easier.

Best thing right now is to be honest and tell everyone exactly how you feel right now. The decisions in front of you need to be approached with honesty. If you have apprehension about moving in with your dad (regardless of the reason) you need to express that. Sounds like you need a big family talk where everyone is present and discusses their opinions on the matter.

My dad has been in this exact situation for the last few years (he now has alzheimers and my mom passed away 5 years ago) and he vehemently said he wanted to be left alone and live his life his way. At 82, he has earned the right to make those decisions.....we just check up on him as when can. He has even said he is ready "to go" and be with my mom......so he wants to do whatever he wants with his time left....not as an anchor on someone's life that affects future consequences.

Good luck buddy!

sfmarine, are you going to be getting the Sean Connery Bond films (the official ones) 4K set? I thought there would be no Blu-ray discs included, but after checking the updated HMV website listing page recently it looks like Blu-ray discs will be included (based on the artwork), so I hope it will be specified if the extras only will be on the Blu-ray discs.

Don't have any of the Mad Max films on Blu-ray. A few months ago I saw on here that Beyond Thunderdome was among the Warner Brothers-owned films getting 4K releases this year (the film is forty years old this year). If this is indeed correct, I would hope that that extra footage seen in (I think) the theatrical trailer but not in the version of the film that has been available for a long time, can be located and included (would also like to see the Tina Turner music video for We Don't Need Another Hero included).

.
Not right away and I’m passing on the mediocre Steelbook as those oversized “padded” sets take up way too much real estate.

The Daniel Craig 4K set included the Blu-ray’s so I’m not surprised the Connery release will receive the same treatment.

But yeah…I’m waiting for a sale or the entire collection 4K box set.

Will you be getting it?
