I payed half the amount, so $15. Hmm... I didn't pay attention but I'm pretty sure the steelbook is exclusive to the blu-ray version of the film. Hope that cleared things up.
And is it only a download do they show more extra behind the scenes with Heath Ledger and is it devided in 3 parts for each movies like 12 min each in the 38 min running time.

From my understanding it is only a download. I was given an activation code to download the documentary on CinemaNow, no bonus disc or anything like that. Exactly as you said, it was broken down into approximately 3 equally timed parts.

Spoiler Alert!!! for anyone who wants to watch the documentary.

It does talk about Heath as well and shows the extra footage of him from the hospital blow up scene that can be seen on youtube and it talks about how calm and collected he was when they were blowing up the hospital because like pieces of rubble and such from the explosion got in his hair. They also talk about the score of the Joker, you know that eerie silence that gets louder and louder, and how it consisted of two notes being held by a violinist or cello player over and over again until they got it right.

In addition it talks about how they went bigger and larger for the sequel by using more explosions and locations to shoot the film. It also talks about how the 180 truck-flip scene seemed impossible at first but that they finally achieved the feat and goes into the design of the batpod. Sorry went off on a tangent but hope that answers your question.

No need to apologize! Thanks for the the information.
I'm a little put off by the fact that this documentary is dowload only, and won't be on the disc. BB did this same thing with their Act of Valor exclusive. Talk about a disturbing trend.

It can be streamed in 1080p but not downloadable because it streams through the cinemanow app. It states on the back of my pre-order card "Watch the documentary in HD on CinemaNow apps on your compatible HD TV, Blu-ray player, Xbox, PS# and other HD-enabled devices."

So do I sell my cowl edition online, or keep it as a display in my living room?

I cried twice. and went to see it on back to back days. Its so emotioanl, and ties to the other two movies so well.

Wonder if it will eventually be available on the boxed set next year.

i was deadset on getting the BB exclusive just for the Dark Knight Reborn doc but after reading about what it was in addition to it being a download only, I might have to just get the regular blu ray edition. All of that talk about the Joker and the truck flip was all on the Dark knight blu ray anyways.

I saw it twice in theaters and loved it. I didn't think it was possible to do better than TDK. But somehow Nolan did.

I think it gets the negative reviews it does because of what it had to follow and live up to. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of performance that masked any of the shortcomings and plot holes in The Dark Knight. Also, Rises strayed a bit from the realism of the first two films, definitely felt the most comic-booky of all three films. However, because the scope of the film was so grand and epic it had to sacrifice some elements. What people don't realize is that this was the end of Nolan's trilogy and was meant to be seen as the close to the trilogy and in that it succeeded.

Welcome.

Use the search bar at the top of the page to enter in your movie, then on the Blu-ray's page under the picture there is a button titled "Add to collection" just click it and you are on your way!

Or do it from the drop down menu in the search bar once you type in the title, same thing.

Anyone pre-order this without receiving a code from Best Buy? I pre-ordered it last night and still have not received confirmation or code.

If you pre-ordered in store on your receipt if you look after the total somewhere near the middle of your receipt should be the activation code.
