Being in the UK, I'll be renting it first thing on April 1st; however if in May when cinemas are supposedly due to re-open again it has a theatrical run, then a second viewing will most likely be theatrical.

My guess is Godzilla wins as he’s clearly the fan favorite/main star of this franchise and is the safe choice.

Though, if Kong wins he will finally earn the title of ‘King’ and leads the possibility of a Legendary MonsterVerse King Kong adaptation.

This is one that even pre-pandemic I would have very, very unlikely gone to the theater, but I will be watching "opening day" on HBO Max, no doubt.

I'd like to see it in a theater first, but my aunt and uncle want to go see it too so I'll probably be waiting on them to go see it sometime opening weekend - so most likely I will be viewing it on HBO Max first, day one.

I did go see KOTM opening night and then with family the following week, but it's not like I had options then like I will now. I don't mind watching it on a TV and the local AMC isn't a terribly great theater anyway.
