Definitely deeper and tighter than my old generation HTD Level 3 12 inch sub that I'm replacing... Here's to hoping the AA HD10 will be as good (or at least come close) to the Definitive... The Prosub800 is $399 at BB... |

I believe his issue was that the RCA inputs were loose and he did not receive any signal through them. Apparently, the speaker inputs worked. |

Its sad though, YOU shouldn't have to fix a NEW sub. They shouldnt be sending out all these defective ones. They should check them before they waste our time sending out a junker

i agree, i should not have to try & figure out this problem. setting it to on was first on my list, no change. there something wrong with the amp. not sure what? i'm going to test it since it's the weekend. not going to cut or solder anything. if it works, i'll replace the rcas, if not it's going back mon or tues. i'll give them a chance to correct their issues.
does anyone know if this is a 4 or 8 ohm sub? i have another sub amp, but i don't want to blow it on this woofer if i test the driver. also have there been any report or know problems with the drivers? i would like to get this thing working, because it did sound very good when it was working. i blame the jacks because that was my first time unplugging & then plugging them since i set it up. thanks for your input everyone. it's my work weekend so i'm not as p*ssed as i would be if i was off. Try Calling the DeepDiscount with this number 1-815-927-3320 and ext 1005 It seemed to be better than just calling and hitting option 2

![]() I still have a concern that the Auto-On on this amp is not working properly and the amp is always on. But, I have a new pre-pro on the way and I'll be moving my old pre-pro and amp to where I use the HDSUB10. The amp will have 2 free channels for me to use to bypass the internal amp of the HDSUB10. Now I won't have to worry about the internal amp being idle when the sub is not in use. |

thanks for the number & ext. i just want this resolved. not too upset since it's a "bargain" item. i understood the risks when i bought it. i'll just keep buggin them until the warranty expires. at least i didn't sell my backup.

Very cool. I've heard nothing but good things.
I sent the amp back on Dec. 23rd, and UPS got it to them on the 28th. I received a tracking# on Jan. 4th, but it stayed in "billing info received" status until I think the 7th or the 8th. So it looks like it just sat there for a few days before it finally went out. The amp was delivered on the 12th. |

Hey if anyone that is currently looking into the HD-SUB12, I will let you know that a member here has an ENERGY ESW-10 sub that I think he will sell for about the same price as the AA SUB12. I can say from owning an AA HD-SUB10 and hearing the Energy Subs that I think you would find the Energy sub to be a very good and reliable sub, with excellent bass reproduction.
Given the recent hit and miss quality of subs that have been received lately, This would be a steal for this sub. PM me if anyone is interested and I will put you in contact with the seller. |
