I said perfect, I'll take it! They didn't hassle me with warranty info, where I bought it, serial number, blah blah blah. Just took my credit card and shipping info and said it will be here on Thursday! If I wasn't already a Paradigm fan for life, I am now!

ps. They have also called me several times to keep me updated on the status of my headphones. It just goes to show you how a small company that's focused on the quality of their products and their customers can really shine...well done Paradigm, well done.

I had a similar lapse of judgment /coordination and put a serious gouge in one of my Studio 20 cabinets just a few weeks after I got them. I went through my local dealer for the replacement. It took 3 months and cost me $300 USD.

Seems I might have had better luck going to Paradigm directly. Live and learn.

Wow that's a bummer, but at least you got it fixed.

I received my replacement tweeter today and man was it well packaged! My speaker is now back to normal...I can now look at it and not stress anymore

Still sharing the toy room with the kids, I'm hoping to be back in the bigger room of the basement sometime in Feb. I purchased some S6's earlier in the week and they came today, only listened to them for a short time but I'm impressed so far. The S2's have been moved to surround duty at the moment, not sure if I'll sell those or my ADP 1's. Anyway here's a couple of pics.

The DacMagic is nice, I'm enjoying it but can't stand the wall wart. I'm going to replace it with one of these sometime soon.

It's a better power supply than the stock wall wart, it explains what it is in the link.

After Dusting my Studio 100s i noticed a blister the size of a quarter, about 1/2 high in the wood venear finish just above the binding post recess. So choked, now i have to deal with warranty bulls..t

I understood what it was, I've just never heard the term "wall wart".

I didn't see the part you had bolded, my mistake, sorry about that. A wall wart is the external power supply at the end of the power cord that makes it so big. As you know on the DacMagic it's quite large, I'm looking to get rid of as many as I can. I have three in my two channel system and it's starting to get difficult to plug everything in. I have enough room for two but three is really stretching it. That's where this power supply comes into play, it uses a regular sized end on the power cord freeing up some room. If it improves the sound that's bonus but not the main reason I would like to get it.

Looks great VN! How do you like the SE's so far? They're the only Digm series I've never heard, none of the dealers around here stock them. Love the Kuro as well, I was really close to buying one and the my wife bought me an LG for X-Mas a couple of years ago. It wasn't what I wanted but didn't have the heart to tell her.

Have you had any time to evaluate how the Energy sub matches the SE's? I have the SE Sub - if you're looking to upgrade I can't recommend it enough!

Well boys and girls, I boxed up the Monitor 11s and CC-390 last night. They'll be installed in a new home this weekend. I'm actually a bit sad...we had a good run together.

For the moment, the ADP-390s will keep me in the Paradigm family. Those will likely be replaced in the future as well. Updated HT pics to come once the new speakers arrive.
